Scorpion stings are probably comparable to a yellow jacket sting. Usually snuff or a good pinch of Levi Garrett on the sting helps.

Part of the issue with people these days are too many assumptions are made without facts, unless you have all of the facts you can’t make a logical conclusion. And to make a bold statement like someone is a child abuser that just lost their child and state they belong in jail without having any of the facts is beyond me. So many are quick to judge without knowing the facts and slandering the innocent.

@@RecklessSavage He had a fence around the pool with a child lock on the entry point. River was a smart kid and figured out how to get through that. Granger was 15 feet away from the pool playing with the kids. Its nobody fault. Granger is a great dad and had no control in the situation. He was paying attention but by the time he got there River had already drown. It takes 20 seconds to already have your lungs filled. Lay off Granger, him and his family have gone through enough they don't need your negativity about a situation you know nothing about.

This is the first time i saw River on your videos. it made me cry knowing how awesome of a little boy he was. Im so sorry you lost him. I have a little three year old grandson. His father died of a drug overdose and his mother abandoned him when he was 2. We are in the process of adopting him. We love him so much. i like to do the same things for him as you do for your kids. you guys are amazing. keep being the great dad you are. god bless yall. Yee Yee.

I have a 2 year old boy and he loved to watch River play. The first time we watched one of your videos was the Easter egg hunt and his older siblings were just so unbelievably sweet to him. I’ve been stung by ants like idk, 5 times maybe, and I put mud on it or medicine. I’ve been stung by a scorpion once. Dang it hurts so much after ten or so minutes of being stung. I put some medicine on it, and had like to go through like 3 ice packs. It hurt so much.

I rate them nasty little bastards about an 11. I got popped on my finger and the only thing that subsided the burning pain was ice for about 6 hours. Then it was tended for about a week.

Yes I’ve been stung by a scorpion 🦂 it was under my pillow and I got up to use the restroom and when I came back I slid my area under my pillow and BAM 💥 that sucker devil bug stung me!! It was very painful and my arm was numb for two days!! It wasn’t like an ant bite or wasp sting ....I can’t really explain how it would compare to but I just know my fear of them intensified after that lol

So true... this should be a regular daddy/daughter thing. My daughter and I used to lie on the trampoline together and stare at the clouds or the stars. Those were some of our best mommy/daughter talks when she was younger. Of course, it usually involved us bouncing til I was either ready to drop or ready to barf before we laid down to chat...
That's not bad parenting. It's called letting your kids have a good childhood! My parents did stuff like that for me and my brothers when I was younger and it has left me with great memories as a kid! Plus if they get hurt it makes the tougher. We need more parents that are not afraid to let there kids have fun and do crazy stuff!!!

I've been stung by a scorpion. It's hard to explain how it feels. It feels like someone took a sucker-rod and heated the end of it up and stuck it into you. They hurt really bad.

I've been stung by a couple when I lived in Wyoming it feels just like a bee sting, what I've done in the past that helps is baking soda mixed with a little bit of water 9:00

I have been stung with a scorpion, it hurts like hell and it feels like getting stung by a hornet and it isn't a fun time. The one recommendation I would is using ice and a lot of ibuprofen

My husband loves making his fires but right now in Tennessee it's to cold to hang out by the fire we moved up here 7 months ago and he was spending days out there burning moving trash and 1 day it was warm enough to have a cook out, I can't wait for it to get warm enough to have cook outs and sitting by the fire right now we're teaching our new dogs to hang out and play by it. I love you and your family those kids are totally cute next time your up near Knoxville, Tennessee with your band and family you can come by and we'll have a big fire, cook and sing and have all kinds of fun by the creek and river.
There is just something about being the youngest and being the daredevil. Youngest of four myself and I’m probably the most daring. Lol I guess it’s the need for attention and trying to stand out and find our own paths. Hahaha.

My brother gets stung all time in weird painful places in schulenburg Texas but we have tarantulas in our house our shop even when me and my stepdad get a fire call or I get a folder of a fugitive I have to hunt my gear has em I had on my gun while at a fugitives home
Been stung twice not as bad as a wasp sting side effects lasted longer, did not do anything for treating them. Both stings came from Arizona bark scorpions.

My Aunt lived on a ranch just outside G-town when I was growing up and we spent lots of summers there. Scorpions were always, always, always around their inground pool and throughout the house. (Literally would see double digit numbers of them every single day throughout the summer.) It was a never ending battle and there was nothing that culled 'em or slowed 'em down. They, too, went through every exterminator in the greater Austin area and zilcho helped. We all quickly learned the two quickest ways to be stung....putting on shoes or jeans. Anytime your jeans are hung over a chair overnight, shake them out like mad. There's something about denim jean legs that attracted them. Haha! And always, always shake out your shoes before putting 'em on. I'd say a scorpion sting is a 7 on your 1-10 scale and we never found anything that "helped" besides time....and benadryl to prevent excessive swelling. Loving that "Future Aggie" shirt!! YEE YEE and Gig 'em!!!!
I am elegiac bees and wasps so they are ten on my list but I don’t know about scorpions because I have never been stung by one

Swarm of yellow jackets in the ground. Chased me out of the shed. As I was running to get to the house I saw the bee backing up straight for my eye. Not that night but the next day eye was closer . Usually a baking soda paste will bring out the stinger.

I've been stung by one while putting wood on a fire, exact same scenario right on the palm of my hand. I've been stung by just about every stinging insect we have in Oklahoma and scorpion was definitely the worst, but comparable to a yellow jacket. I used some sting ointment and a cold pack and most of the pain was gone in about 6 hours.

I was stung by a scorpion. It felt like a bee sting and it gives you muscle spasms, makes you feel really bad for at least 24 hours. The hospital wanted me to come in and they have some kind of a cocktail to make the side affects easier. But I stayed at home and suffered
Meat tenderiser and water make a paste and put on the sting it will pull out the poison. leave on until dry. Afterwards use tea tree oil on the site of the sting it will help with the inflammation and itchiness. Hope this helps. God bless TX and you! Yall have a good day now!
