In this snowboard video we're hiking in Stevens Pass to explore secret powder zones. This is our first day the sun has come out here at Stevens Pass. This has made it much easier for exploring and searching out these secret powder zones. The hiking area at Stevens was a bit hazardous because some of the zones have hidden cliffs and some areas that get flat and possibly stuck with your snowboard. The best powder snowboarding line of the day was actually our last hike when we found some untouched powder through the trees. My overall impression of hiking at Stevens Pass is that there are some incredible powder good but also some Hazards to respect and be cautious of. Thanks for watching!

Yooo guys, sorry I wasn't able to show you guys anything sick during our ride. Unfortunately I was on a verryy limited time frame while on the clock. Looks like you guys did make it up to those power lines along Rooster Comb though!! Glad I could point you guys in the right direction! ;) It was so awesome to meet you guys! Best part of my season for sure.
Stevens Pass is such a gem. It was my home mountain for years. I miss it more than ever. I am glad you were able to experience some of it.
There is so much more, so much hidden gems that don’t require such strenuous hikes, too.

I can't wait hitting Stevens for the first time in 20 years. I grew up on the old Steven's being raised up in Monroe. Used to go up with friends in high school. Now it's me and my teenage sons. I'm totally stoked to get back out there.

You should go to Sierra-at-Tahoe ski resort it’s a lot of fun and when your down there you can hit heavenly, Kirkwood and more it’s in California I recommend it just get a pass for a day for all the resorts and have fun
if your in the area, mount baker is the spot to be, Stevens and crystal are still pretty solid though, Stevens is my home mtn

dang i went up to Stevens yesterday at 9 but it was took packed no parking so i had to go home im so mad i didn't get to meet you your my favorite snowboard channel i go up to Stevens every Wednesday.

I’ve been riding Stevens for a long time, people say “why?” This is why. Regular runs from open till 11, lunch 🥗, then slack country rest of the day. So good!

Hi Kevin! Always enjoy your videos. Anyway, this video you were talking about some hazards you’d bumped to and try to avoided it. How did you learned about those (avalanche) hazard and stuff? Did you get the knowledge from courses, personal experience or what? Thanks;)
another great vid. Question... Thinking about how you are scoping the mountain and thinking about your line, how effective could a small drone be to pop up and check the hazards before going for it? Something like the DJI Spark or MavicMini? Not for filming purposes (although that avenue opens up) but a quick flight to get the lay of the land could get you into some great lines with less risk?
If you thought Stevens was good, check out Baker. I think Baker is steeper and has more cliffs. Plus the Backcountry is insane. Baker makes me want to take an Avi class and get the right gear.
Hey guys, as you ride the Orca in the video, I was wondering what your take is on that board. I'm currently on a Burton Flight Attendant 162w. It works well in pow, but I sometimes find it hard to ride FA on piste, especially if it gets a bit icy, as it feels a bit stiff and overall not super responsive. Would the Orca be a good alternative in your opinion? Would be great if you could find the time for a response. Have a great winter 🤙

Was wondering if you could answer a question on your next vid. I've just switched from skiing to snowboarding, love it, but I usually only go snowboard/ski like once per year which is like 4-7 days /year. What should I do to improve as fast as possible?
Work on toe and heel turns, will help control speed and being able to go faster if you'd like 👍

I went for the first time today at Steven's Pass and I gotta say..this was the most underwhelming places to go I've been to out of Colorado, different locations in Europe and Washington State..not the worst runs but heavily underwhelming in every experience to include your mandatory reservations for a simple beer break.
Edit: Wouldn't recommend for beginner to early novices looking to get into blues or even reds as every drop drop was mogul city (for our snowboarder friends).
