I just love the fact that Robert's skin actually looks like natural skin. We can see pores, marks, uder eye darkness. He is genuine. Otherwise, most of the TH-camrs make me feel so insecure when I see their glass smooth skin.

Wet n wild can have some gems, the brushes are great for those needing brushes. Affordable brushes for the win, at least for me. I think the best makeup collection for use will always be a blend of affordable and some high end.
Oh yes, the large eyeshadow brush is brilliant - I have four of them, love the powder brush too. Such good value but they’re good by any standards tbh.
I always have Rosé in the Air, Nude Awakening and Comfort Zone on hand. I love some Wet and Wild, although I do have to say thier formulas are not consistent with each shadow.

I'm a bit of a WNW fangirl, so I was super excited to see this video! I agree with you that that particular palette you used was a bit of a bust, but they've reformulated it into a new 32 pan palette that's much smoother and easier to blend. Also, they have a new primer called the Impossible Primer that I've repurchased a few times now. It mattifies, blurs pores, reduces redness *and* is silicone free. It feels A M A Z I N G on the skin!

I love the Wet N Wild concealers. I use a peachy, or more warmer shade to color correct my darkness under my eyes and any where on my face that's dark. Plus color correcting the way Robert has said to use it is life changing. My makeup routine has improved by applying tips from Robert ❤
Also I don’t know if it’s still available but the Bretman Rock mascara is suppose to be really good Kathleen Lights raves about it. They do have multiple colors of highlighter and even have a 4 pan palette which I have and love. I really wish they would keep the setting spray as a regular
I still have my w&w eyeshadow trio in “walking on eggshells” from when I was 15 years old (back when it was a trio and not a quad) and it’s still my favorite every day colors ever.

I’m in my 40s and use that concealer on my under eye and strategically around my face everyday instead of fussing with foundation. It plays very nicely with my dry skin, blends in quick, and makes my skin look great without being too made up. Good stuff!
As a MUA, is doing makeup on yourself different than when on a client ? Like are the technics you do on someone else harder when doing it on yourself is what I mean ?
Yea absolutely! I never did makeup on myself until I started TH-cam. So I was used to doing makeup on only other people, so flipping my hand round and doing it on myself I had to learn new techniques etc!
I find that applying makeup on other people is easier than applying it on myself, especially when it comes to applying winged liner, false lashes, and contour. As a MUA, you have a larger range of motion that allows you to see your client's face from different angles and lighting, whereas on yourself, it's not as easy to stand back and see how things look at different angles. :-)
@@batoolfatima5260 Totally! There have been several times where I've applied contour or bronzer and thought it looked blended, but then I see it in a picture or another angle and it looks awful. Hahaha! I have to swear to others that I am actually really good at makeup - just not always on myself for this reason! LOL

Wet n wild products are definitely hit & miss, but not bad for the price range. Which is affordable for me. I've never used that particular eyeshadow pallet before. The break up proof eyeliner is to die for.
I got so sad when he said about drug store brushes everyone in the states know Wet & Wild eye brushes are literally the best and stand a chance to some high end blending brushes
I personally love the photo focus liquid version of the foundation, it's an awesome matte foundation for literally £5.99! plus the baked powder that goes with it is nice too. and the highlighters of course are everywhere ❤
i remember that one time i quickly did my makeup before going out with my bf at the time, and i was wearing the matte photofocus foundation, and then i looked at my face in a random mirror in a restaurant, and my skin just looked SO PERFECT i was caught off guard 😂
@@edenkentner I used to wear Maybelline´s Baby Skin but it wasn´t working for me. Currently I just use my mattifying moisturizer and Eucerin Oil Control sunscreen, but it still slides right off anyway.

I think you would also enjoy some of the Wet’n’Wild cult classics like the Color Icon 4 or 10-pan palettes & blushes, the Mega Last lipsticks, and even the newer Photofocus (Dewy!!!) liquid foundation. These are staples for US makeup beginners, known for their low cost and wide availability in grocery shops, but also have a reputation for quality and pigment. Yea i seen that WNW palette in the store & I wasn't impressed. They actually have way better palettes with better quality than that one. A good one is their collab with bretman rock, and their little 6 pan & 9 pan palettes. Theyre so little but the pigment is great. Not too much, builds well & comes in many different colors stories. Plus they're only $4.99 here lol the WNW website is having a huge sale on their collections & brushes. Worth checking out💜💜💜💜
I love the original comfort zone palette (Walmart still sells them online!) I just bought one about 3 months ago. It's all shimmers but I don't care. The Walking on Eggshells quad is GORGEOUS, too! The 3 shimmers are dupes for 3 MAC shadows. I really wish the quads from the collection with the birds was still available. They and the baked blushes (blushlighters) are so beautiful! You can still get the blushes on the WNW website. 3 for $10.*

I had it for a while sitting in my makeup draw (it came in a set) and since I started watching your videos and suggested to use primer instead of concealer for eyeshadow i started using it and it's been a life changing step because i have very oily lids and now they don't crease at all! You are the best 🖤

Ah, I love Robert and love the fact that he's been branching out and trying more drugstore brands! I've tried the smaller Wet n Wild shadows (maybe like 10 or 12 pan palettes-not sure because it was years ago) and I remember them being pretty decent. I think when drugstore brands make larger palettes, they tend to skimp on the quality of ALL the shadows in the palette vs smaller ones. But Wet n Wild highlighters have always been fab! There were these cheetah-print looking ones that were amazing-especially the pinkier toned one!
I would love to see Robert try the photo focus matte foundation, setting powder, and setting spray. They do have some very nice liquid lipsticks and glosses as well. Also, yes they have brushes. They are extremely affordable, and I actually think the quality is surprisingly good.
I love their Photofocus foundation, matte version. It’s gorgeous and makes my skin look flawless. And their Rosé in the Air palette which people call a dupe for the Modern Renaissance by ABH, is brilliant! 🤩❤️

I love the Liquid Cat Suit, esp in " Caught you Bare Naked" . Can be used to tone down other lip color, or as part of a nude lip. Taylor Wynn does this quite often, love it!!!💗💗
So excited for this! Robert, I would LOVE to see you try the new L’Oréal foundation, the Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation. I bought it on a whim, which I never do, and I’m so obsessed. It’s one of the most beautiful natural foundations I’ve ever used and I think you’d love it! It’s super lightweight but the coverage is just right, I cannot recommend enough. Love you and your channnel so much!

The rose' in the air, is my everyday palette! I choose it over my other palettes,and they are toofaced and tarte! Seriously always recommend that palette to everyone!

Living in the USA, wet n wild products have been around for a long time. I have never had good luck with their shadows. The fall out and they wear away quickly when you are out ☹️ I haven't had much luck with their pencil or liquid liners either. The highlighters, blush, and concealer are quite nice. Those I have used for years.

The best wet and wild eyeshadow I've ever used is in one of their quads. It's the perfect purple grey for "are you dead or tired" lol I have three backups I use it so often ha! Also....why aren't all foundations with the same shade name the same color?! "No, no...ughh" 😂
I love WnW highlighters. They're not chunky and heavy, build well and spread so nicely when you blend with them. I've tried using the liquid ones as fun accents for eyeshadow looks with varying success. Thanks for reviewing their products!

I adore that highlight. I think there's only one shade they have in it that's drier than the rest. It is a DREAM applied with a finger too. On the cheekbones. Trust me. WnW mascaras have always been duds for me however. 😭

Yea absolutely! I never did makeup on myself until I started TH-cam. So I was used to doing makeup on only other people, so flipping my hand round and doing it on myself I had to learn new techniques etc!
I find that applying makeup on other people is easier than applying it on myself, especially when it comes to applying winged liner, false lashes, and contour. As a MUA, you have a larger range of motion that allows you to see your client's face from different angles and lighting, whereas on yourself, it's not as easy to stand back and see how things look at different angles. :-)

@@batoolfatima5260 Totally! There have been several times where I've applied contour or bronzer and thought it looked blended, but then I see it in a picture or another angle and it looks awful. Hahaha! I have to swear to others that I am actually really good at makeup - just not always on myself for this reason! LOL

Wet n wild products are definitely hit & miss, but not bad for the price range. Which is affordable for me. I've never used that particular eyeshadow pallet before. The break up proof eyeliner is to die for.

I got so sad when he said about drug store brushes everyone in the states know Wet & Wild eye brushes are literally the best and stand a chance to some high end blending brushes
I feel like their eye brushes are good, but the face ones aren’t very dense and I personally did not enjoy those.

I personally love the photo focus liquid version of the foundation, it's an awesome matte foundation for literally £5.99! plus the baked powder that goes with it is nice too. and the highlighters of course are everywhere ❤
i remember that one time i quickly did my makeup before going out with my bf at the time, and i was wearing the matte photofocus foundation, and then i looked at my face in a random mirror in a restaurant, and my skin just looked SO PERFECT i was caught off guard 😂
I don´t know if I´m using the wrong primer or if it´s my oil slick of a skin, but on me it just comes right off.

@@edenkentner I used to wear Maybelline´s Baby Skin but it wasn´t working for me. Currently I just use my mattifying moisturizer and Eucerin Oil Control sunscreen, but it still slides right off anyway.

It makes me so excited to see you trying out items I have long sworn by, and it brings a smile to my face when you giddily discover something new to love. I think you would also enjoy some of the Wet’n’Wild cult classics like the Color Icon 4 or 10-pan palettes & blushes, the Mega Last lipsticks, and even the newer Photofocus (Dewy!!!) liquid foundation. These are staples for US makeup beginners, known for their low cost and wide availability in grocery shops, but also have a reputation for quality and pigment. I have also heard great things about their Lash Renegade mascara and the Breakup-Proof eyeliner.

Yea i seen that WNW palette in the store & I wasn't impressed. They actually have way better palettes with better quality than that one. A good one is their collab with bretman rock, and their little 6 pan & 9 pan palettes. Theyre so little but the pigment is great. Not too much, builds well & comes in many different colors stories. Plus they're only $4.99 here lol the WNW website is having a huge sale on their collections & brushes. Worth checking out💜💜💜💜
I was wondering about if the formula in the big palette is different or something, I really like my smaller WnW palettes.
I love the original comfort zone palette (Walmart still sells them online!) I just bought one about 3 months ago. It's all shimmers but I don't care. The Walking on Eggshells quad is GORGEOUS, too! The 3 shimmers are dupes for 3 MAC shadows. I really wish the quads from the collection with the birds was still available. They and the baked blushes (blushlighters) are so beautiful! You can still get the blushes on the WNW website. 3 for $10.*

I had it for a while sitting in my makeup draw (it came in a set) and since I started watching your videos and suggested to use primer instead of concealer for eyeshadow i started using it and it's been a life changing step because i have very oily lids and now they don't crease at all! I've tried the smaller Wet n Wild shadows (maybe like 10 or 12 pan palettes-not sure because it was years ago) and I remember them being pretty decent. I think when drugstore brands make larger palettes, they tend to skimp on the quality of ALL the shadows in the palette vs smaller ones.
But Wet n Wild highlighters have always been fab! There were these cheetah-print looking ones that were amazing-especially the pinkier toned one!

I would love to see Robert try the photo focus matte foundation, setting powder, and setting spray. They do have some very nice liquid lipsticks and glosses as well. Also, yes they have brushes. They are extremely affordable, and I actually think the quality is surprisingly good.
I love their Photofocus foundation, matte version. It’s gorgeous and makes my skin look flawless. And their Rosé in the Air palette which people call a dupe for the Modern Renaissance by ABH, is brilliant! 🤩❤️
Is that the liquid foundation? I tried it when it first came out and I hated the formula, it was super watery and smelled like paint. Wondering if they changed their formula?
Katie Kilgore yes the liquid one. It does have a smell but it doesn’t bother me.
I love the Liquid Cat Suit, esp in " Caught you Bare Naked" . Can be used to tone down other lip color, or as part of a nude lip. Taylor Wynn does this quite often, love it!!!💗💗
Oh their liquid photofocus foundation is really good esp for a drugstore brand. The smell is horrible but the foundation is beautiful

So excited for this! Robert, I would LOVE to see you try the new L’Oréal foundation, the Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation. I bought it on a whim, which I never do, and I’m so obsessed. It’s one of the most beautiful natural foundations I’ve ever used and I think you’d love it! It’s super lightweight but the coverage is just right, I cannot recommend enough. The rose' in the air, is my everyday palette! I choose it over my other palettes,and they are toofaced and tarte! Seriously always recommend that palette to everyone!

Living in the USA, wet n wild products have been around for a long time. I have never had good luck with their shadows. The fall out and they wear away quickly when you are out ☹️ I haven't had much luck with their pencil or liquid liners either.
The highlighters, blush, and concealer are quite nice. Those I have used for years.

The best wet and wild eyeshadow I've ever used is in one of their quads. It's the perfect purple grey for "are you dead or tired" lol I have three backups I use it so often ha! Also....why aren't all foundations with the same shade name the same color?! "No, no...ughh" 😂
I love WnW highlighters. They're not chunky and heavy, build well and spread so nicely when you blend with them. I've tried using the liquid ones as fun accents for eyeshadow looks with varying success. Thanks for reviewing their products!

I adore that highlight. I think there's only one shade they have in it that's drier than the rest. It is a DREAM applied with a finger too. On the cheekbones. Trust me. WnW mascaras have always been duds for me however. 😭
