Can't wait for my demos to come next week. Trying both the 97 v14 and the X. 6.1 95 Classic was the last Pro Staff I owned as teen in the 90s. Very excited!

Please make an on court comparison between the blade 98 v8 vs prostaff 97 v14 in terms of power and stability.. is it a noticeable difference between these two?
I quite liked the Prostaff 97 v13 but it did give me pain in the middle finger knuckle and whenever I use it for a while i hear sound when i clench my fingers. Never had that with any other tennis racquets.
This is a pro staff that seems like , it is designed for the general masses market . It is designed for short armed hitting players , poss thicker and older players . They are returning to old specs just to place it in range of future shift integration technology .
ProStaff V14 97 is really good : feel like old versions. I have tested also the X : i din't like it : i felt like a mix of a Blade, a Clash and sometimes like an Ultra.
I don’t understand why the ”blade-color” on this? It’s difficult to tell the apart, save for the orange Wilson… From a marketing perspective Wilson just shot themselves in the foot…
Wait until they try the X, way better than this IMO. Way easier to use with all of the same positives but bigger sweet spot, more spin, and more power.
I would suggest the ppl who don’t like the new coating colour to check out this racquet in store. It looks much nicer in store than how it is on video. The texture is similar to blade V8 (even more like matte paint than blade does).

Best part about this racquet is it makes the price of the v13 go down :-). I could always use a 4th!

two completely different rackets. one has a lot more weight in the head than the grip and the other more maneuverable.

True for RF. RF is the most demading racquet in the world but not PS. PS can be used with anyone

Thats my point smart ass, never had problems with an rf97 and pure drive but had wrist issues the ps97 v13. Hence why I sold those frames.
