    What would be leading choice to make it weigh 10.6 oz?

    Would it be too big of a difference going from a Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19 to a Wilson Pro Staff 97L? I'm currently playing with the Pure Strike and would like to try it out.

    Requesting an experimental video that I believe all of us will learn from. I am curious to know the general amount of difference in swing weight and balance that comes from using different overgrips/replacementgrips. In addition, maybe wrap overgrips using Gasquet's style? Do you and other coaches actually notice the differences while playing?

    • @jerome_morrow
      @jerome_morrow ปีที่แล้ว

      Most overgrips are around 5-6g in weight. This does not alter swingweight. Balance shifts towards the handle by 2-3mm.

    You know what would be really cool, If you take one PS 97L and mod like Fed's racket. Take one racket and put a leather grip on (use a grip size higher like L4) and put led tape on the top (under grommets) like Fed's. I'm very curious about the final numbers and specifications and also how it would play! Thaks, harry!!!!

    Undecided between PS97L and Ezone 100. I'm an intermediate player, moving up from Ezone Feel (255g/102 in). Which one would you suggest?

      You’re going to feel more familiar with an EZONE.

    how does this compare with blade 98 v8 16x19. both are on sale at the same pticr a store near me. thinking to upgrade from my old k blade 98

      I recently tried the blade v8 16x19 and I would say coming from Yonex Vcore Pro, I felt the racket felt kind of lacking control. It has power and once it contacts the feeling is solid, very firm but I felt less control. Again with my single handed backhand I felt I had a lot of power but less spin. Although it might be my playing style, but with the blade I felt that the racket wants you to play flat.
      However, with pro staff I felt the same solid feeling with a lot of control over different range of shots. I mean I could play flat or whip up topspin and I still feel in control, unlike a Blade where if I try to whip up topspin I lose control.
      But if you are an old blade user, I would say definitely try the blade before switching.
      Hope this helps.

      I’m a 66 year old male 6’4” 225lb 4.0/4.5. I have played with the 97L v13 for the last 3 years. After demoing the PS 97 v14, the PS X, and the Blade 98 v8. I bought the 97L v14. I absolutely love it. The power, the accuracy, and the feel are fantastic. I have full swing ground strokes and have no problem generating speed. My backhand slice is a weapon with this racquet. Volleys are crisp and accurate. The v14 feels easier on the arm than the v13 with a little more flex. With that said I do not have elbow or shoulder problems.

    What do you think about the rigidity of this racket? It could be a problem for senior players elbow?

    This is a good racquet. So many ppl say this is for kids. Its a disrespectful statement I feel. Kids play with 100 inch heads. This is a 97.
