    That was a summer slam main event count out ending if I ever seen't it. 😂
    I love hearing you guys chop it up.
    I feel like any one of us could sit down at a bar or at a ballgame and have a beer by you two, jump in the conversation, and if done so respectfully, you two wouldn't miss a beat.
    That speaks to the people you are.
    Thanks for the entertainment!

    From 96 to 98 i was a huge wcw fan. Sting will always be my all time favorite, i was definitely a fan of wolfpac sting, the red and black was sick!
    loved
    Nash and the wolfpac!
    I still have the red wolf shirt with nwo on the back. To this day
    I remember my mom ordering starcade 97 and 98.
    When nash beat goldberg i jumped outta my seat i couldnt stand the goldberg character in general and as great of a bad guy nash was
    I did enjoy him as a baby face , wish it would have lasted longer.
    Thanks for the memories nash my 10 to 12 year old self thanks you

    Having a lot of people in the nWo made sense and worked, wasn't a big problem as most people think. It really helped it seem like a big deal that everyone wanted to be a part of it. Having a huge gang really helped sell the power of it. It really was when they brought in people that didn't make sense that kinda ruined things. Dusty, Jarrett and eventually Sting being the big ones for me that just had people shaking their heads as to things not making sense anymore and just losing the last bits of logic to it, guys that just didn't help at all and actually made things worse.

      Even in the Wolfpac, Sting made no sense. He, Bret, and DDP should have been the main WCW guys. I'd probably add Luger to the list too and I actually liked him in nWo.

      A lot only makes sense up to a point. I think having 5 is the sweet spot of members and 7 might be the upper-limit. As mentioned: the quality of people is a huge factor and I don't think Virgil and Big Booty Daddy were exactly elevating the group.

    • @krectus
      @krectus 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@eschaton7813 Yeah for sure, didn't elevate anything. But so often you hear people say that adding guys like Virgil and Buff Bagwell really brought things down and was the death of the nWo when it wasn't at all. nWo thrived for another year or two with those guys in it, they weren't the problem people nowadays think they were, not even close.

    The problem was having wcw guys joining nwo. Hulk made sense, but Giant, Steiner, buff, Scott Norton, Curt Henning, and guys like that should have stayed being WCW to continue the illusion of an invasion.

    Bagwell claims he wasn’t drunk or on drugs during this arrest. He says he failed to document an out-of-state trip properly, so, they took him in and he was “sanctioned” on his last DUI charge.
    He says he’s eleven months sober.
    Let’s hope that’s all true, I guess.

    I honestly think Diabase & Virgil were never needed. Konnan good fit. Muta good fit. Norton good fit. Scott Steiner once he got the Big Poppa Pump persona great fit. Waltman was a great fit. I just think since the "takeover Nitro" thing didn't work, I think they should've made a plan to lean out the nWo. Savage worked, but Sting, Luger, & the Giant should've never joined unless they were going to take it down from the inside. I think the best thing, and it would've been amazing TV, would've been for Ted Turner to show up & put the kibosh on it after the nWo gets fractured & ppl start to go their own way such as Hogan, Sting, & Luger turning face again. But Turner still decides there needs to be consequences. Hogan, Luger, & Sting can't wrestle for a title for a couple years. Then since Flair "ran" WCW & got rid of the LWO, but not the nWo, Flair faces the same punishment. Now you have legit reason why these wrestlers can't be anywhere near a title & other talents get a shot & things get refreshed & rejuvenated.

      @soulofanerd9364 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're misinterpreting his point. Vince and WWE had HAD success from 85/86 - 92 so even while having down years, Vince knew what success looked like and how to navigate it from experience, Eric and WCW did not. And this is coming from a WCW lifelong fan who was there from the beginning in 89 and even for JCP which is what WCW used to be as far as the roster and on air people. Nash is just stating a fact that as a company of new management WCW had never had true success.
