Kevin Nash jumping over to WCW w Scott Hall. Saved Scott Hall's Career & Life in more ways than anyone could ever imagine.
"...Kevin, me and everyone listening are trying to connect this back to Vince McMahon..." LMAO Sean. Love you guys.
This is one if the best clips I've seen from the podcast, not just because they are talking wrestling, but Kev is animated and engaged in the conversation, not the usual one or two word answers.
He layed off the wine today and is less stoned.
He's also had one of the hardest year or so that ANY human being would have to go thru.. I feel like he's just now starting to fully rebound..
Also..m yeah laid off all the wine
I could listen to Nash all day. Such a wise man, and cool as all hell.
Great dude!, much respect from this fan from Canada.
Kev is a smart guy and this is one of the clips that show how straight forward his thought process is many times. Who can't relate to everything he's saying here about his career? It's about as honest as he could be. I've never been a fan of his really but he is instrumental in the Monday Night Wars era and what he said about how he and Scott KNEW what they had to do coming in on the heels of cartoon era Dungeon of Doom, speaks volumes. I believe Eric wanted to go more realistic but he had out of touch Hogan in his ear so when these guys came in he had his perfect opportunity to cement the tone of WCW and we all know what happened from there in BOTH COMPANIES
Kevin did the right thing. His priorities were spot on. And wrestling was never the same. :):):)
Wcw offered more money than Vince could afford to pay at the time, what are you talking about? Priorities!? 🤣
Vince Himself said he wudda done the same thing
@@RowlexEnterprise they had a discussion, Kevin didn't wanna leave! Vince told him go for it, he couldn't match or top their offer!
He wanted more time with his family and time off. WCW was on the road a lot less.@@smadas4192
@zachsabbath1 no duh! That's not why he left! He had discussion with McMahon and wanted to stay! McMahon couldn't match or beat what wcw offered and he told him to go with his blessing! That's what went down!
That skull crack when he tosses Thulsa Dooms head down those stone steps STILL gets me lol
To be honest. I really wished that Kevin Nash as Diesel, was put into the WWF arcade game from the SNES. I definitely would have played it tons more if he was put into it.
It was great to see Kevin Nash finally return as Diesel at Royal Rumble 2011.
"Vanilla midget" is one of the most poignant things Nash has ever coined, it's more or less become the sad reality of the wrestling business today.
We want more Scott Hall stories!
More we hall stories want scott!

Money will always talk regardless of what "you would rather do"!
I still don't understand how these guys worked 300 days a year. Doing ANYTHING on that schedule travelling is a nightmare, much less something that takes a toll on you physically like that. It's sad to say, but no wonder so many guys fell victim to drug abuse.
Exactly. Reason why they should have formed a UNION LONG AGO
Yup. That’s why I get defensive when people call wrestling “fake”
How did they do it? By partying nonstop.
@soulofanerd9364 they tried, specifically Ventura. Hogan got word and ran to Vince
@@Derek70388 yep, I've heard that shoot interview from Ventura
Best pod out right now hands down
LOL, that's so awesome that Kevin is a big Conan The Barbarian fan! I loved that movie!
How do you ask questions? Kevin Owens shared a funny idea about an idea he had for a Nash match that ended up not happening on the indies that I think Nash would LOVE to hear. Owens wanted to start the match trying the finger poke of doom and being confused when Nash didn't fall before Nash hit him to start the match.
The Snoop Dogg quote at the end 😆😆😆😆👍🏽
Big Kev quoting Snoop Dogg at the end was a nice touch Nuthin 'But A "G" Thang baby😂
You know I was watching finger poke of doom and notice Nash got hit with that career killer back kick by Goldbotch
Vince was Nash's Colonel Trautman...
LOOK AT THE ADJECTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he meant to call playful instead of play then he woulda been correct
I laughed so hard I tore my quad.
I'm relieved that wcw didn't make Nash a member of the Dungeon of Doom and Hall too lol
Scott Hall & Kevin Nash leaving did the locker room a huge favor because if they had not left, they would have done the same thing in WWE that they did in WCW which was always keep themselves booked on top with Hollywood Hogan and not let anyone get over. That and they carved what ever they could out of WCW with their "favored nations clause" in their contracts. He's changed his story about this several times now.
I love the snoop reference
"We all want to cuddle" lol
People talk shit about Kevin but you can't blame him for going for the money. Still Big Daddy Cool!!
Kevin I think you were a great wrestler in WWF and WCW I didn't catch the tna run
Conan the Barbarian is a great film❤
I wonder if big Kev would have went to ecw worked for Paul Heyman back in the day
Bischoff was gonna pay him what Vince couldn’t afford to do. Anyone else would’ve done the same
Guaranteed money which WCW offered. Vince didn't have that back then.
@@chadk890 I think Michaels got it in Jan 1996: 5 years at 750,000 per. Marc Mero got it too from Vince but I don't remember the exact date.
How many times are they going to talk about the same topic lol, we heard Kevin tell this same story a million times by now 😆 🤣 😂
I don't know how anyone watches the podcast, Nash is boring, Sean is okay, but overall it's pretty bad.
How these guys bodies didn’t break down is crazy
Kevin loves a tangent story. Jesus.
Vince wasn’t loyal to you in the end when he buried the nwo comeback in 2002 in the wwe
Vince didn't bury them..... The fans did when they erupted for Hogan as the biggest baby face imaginable. Vince had huge plans for them that all got screwed when Hogan went face and Hall got drunk the night before Wrestlemania
Vince's Flywheels are if we're not going to make money with you, then we can't do anything with you.
Guys who complained about WCW. Sure as hell didn't mind staying there until the end. Money talks.
Kevin, how the fuck do you remember all of these details and all locations you’ve been? I can’t remember where I went with my ex a few years ago.
7:36........lol What the hell are you talking about Kevin lol
He made so much WCW money, he should still be spending WCW money…
It’s not that much money dude. Compared to top hockey players, it’s nothing… and NHL make nothing compared to NBA players.
Yeah wrestling takes a bigger toll on your body than hockey, but hockey players are going for 20-min periods 3x a night… 3ish games a week October to potentially June… they’re on the ice way more than wrestlers are in the ring. I know wrestling schedules sound brutal, but a lot of nights just consisted of promos/jumping a guy for 2 minutes. Matches rarely went beyond 10 minutes ever.
If wrestlers worked 60 minutes a night, then yeah, holy fuck pay them more, because they’d have to be genetic freaks, worthy of Auston Matthews contracts. Matthews is getting fucked on Valium, percs and JD every night
Vince-probably-thought-WCW--wouldnt-know-what-to-do-with-Scott/Kevin-then-realized-oh-shit-this-is-not-good-when-they-made-such-a-impact-in-WCW_lol
They all want to cuddle 😂😂
If Over Power was an person
I hate the term "Character" for Pro Wrestlers..Im old school they're gimmicks, the person wrestling is still the same person.
Lex was never clean. Neither was Vince!
Hes clean hes clean that big mofo is clean......except the 50 somas and 50 xanax
"Vanilla midget" = a wrestler that's under 5'11-6'0 that's a great worker but zero personality (i.e. Benoit, Malenko etc)
What if u have a 15 incher but you're a they/them?
With all due respect to Kevin when you got to WCW you were basically washed because you couldn't even run anymore. And the jackknife wasn't what it used to be you started trying to jackknife people like you wanted to hurt them. And that poor attempt on the giant was 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
If I remember kevin did tell the giant that he couldn’t do that move on him and giant said to do it 🤦🏻♂️
He performed it on the giant before but he wasn't quite as big the first time
When I was 6 years old ,Kevin was my favorite action figure 😂that’s why it makes me sad he is a liberal ,if I ever meet him ,I’ll say ,”say it ain’t so Kevin “ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂hahahahahahah
Same. Really is sad.
Agreed
Sad that he cares for others as a liberal? Get over yourselves and go find your next boogieman you can be scared of and blame for your failings. That’s all the right does.
@@jasonfuller2734 why do you guys always have to frame a situation like you guys “care” for others. Quit being pretentious.
Yeah Kevin went to WCW and destroyed it because he wanted it his way that
big goof baby.
Wrong. 🙄
@@chadk890 I'm not wrong he killed WCW! That big goofy drunk!
