As someone with thick, long hair, this technique worked super well for me! I just have to remember the buns are sisters not twins lol

The trouble for me is that I have textureless dead straight long hair, so when I try to secure the bun with a hairtie the bun just goes into an unattractive looking spiral downwards, then I have two extremely knotted pigtails with loops at the ends
Prepping your hair before you style it is SO important. Try curling it and adding some texture spray. Also when you do the buns use a hair tie and add some Bobby pins for extra support. I hope this helps!

Amazing tutorial, only problem I have is that, even with bobby pins, I can barely succeed with the buns.
Add a hair tie to try and support the bun and then reinforce with the Bobby pins. Hope that helps!

Ok so this is what I have to do :
Brush your hair
Make pigtails
Give the pigtails a bun shape
Get the hair tie
And them tie it with a hair tie
And them the messy effort
How does the hair tie hold it and how does the weight of the bun not like sag?
You want to make sure the ends are in the hair tie so that it holds. You add Bobby pins to secure the bun in place to make sure it doesn’t sag

Amazing hair style but how can you stop the small baby hairs from getting out of the bun?
Hairspray might help a little. I don’t worry about it too much but I prefer my hair a little messy

My hair is pretty thick also but I’m not sure if yours is thicker than mine. I would say you can still do it your buns would just be bigger and I would recommend using extra hair ties and Bobby pins! 😊

This style will still work for you! Just pull at the edges of the bun a little more to make you buns appear fuller!
I tried this. It worked but my thin hair said no
I think if you keep pulling at the edges of your hair it will help give it a fuller effect

I tried this method with roughly 2 feet long hair aswell. It's best not to pull at it too much or it looks comically large. You also need a fair few Bobby pins to support the weight.
