The devs told someone at Citicon that the BLD was the first version they designed and built. The other two were just variants they figured out how to fit stuff into.
Great overview of these ships as always! I hope we get the TAC at Invictus, I am very interested in that one. I like the idea of it being listed as long range patrol, and want to use it in merchant escort role some day.
@Sneemaster I hope so 🙂. I also like the idea of a Caterpillar in a combined role of escort carrier and cargo. Modules permitting, of course. It'll be interesting to see how practical that could be.
Thanks for the video ❤ im still hoping theyll roll a docked ship into it opposed to a hanger for a fury, even if it is the fury make it cooler than a box you park in. If I wanted that id get a wife.😅
I like to summarize any information I've found for anyone not aware of certain ships, especially for concept ships. I have friends that are not up-to-date on everything Star Citizen so I make these to help them out, and anyone else curious.
I love my Max. but I still think it would be a better and smarter option to just have your extra "Crew" pilot 2 heavy fighters or a paliden. Honestly Im Waiting on my Odyssey to drop THATS the multi crew ship I really want!
NOTE: On a ship they're not bedrooms; their staterooms. If there are multiple beds in one room (i.e., more than 2 or 3) then they are bunkrooms. Minor detail. :)

Yeah that was us. Exe
The devs told someone the Galaxy was going to have be the large base building ship with a module
I Pledged a TAC as a support ship for my Polaris, thanks for the best detailed view yet'
You're welcome!
Base building is coming way before 1.0
I hope so!

@@JL-rj9fl thanks! Merchant escort would be great in these ships, probably.

I pledged a TAC to replace my Polaris 😅
Yo I think this is Chipp Walters the blender addon dude
lol, I wish. :) I'm not anywhere near as good with Blender as he is.
Thanks, SneeMaster!
But the name... ; p
Thanks! Which name, though? Sneemaster? Is there something wrong with it?
What does this offer that we dont already know?

Love everything about the Starlancer except for the awful placement of the pilot MFDs. Those should be on the dash like the Freelancer.
Agreed!

Thanks for the correction! It would make sense that it would be called that on starships too since they borrow a lot of nautical terms.
You cant preview any of these ships as nothing new has been disclosed, cut the clickbait.
