Join Meg as she takes a look at Yamaha's truly Iconic range of Tranacoustic guitars! Not the first time we've featured these models on the channel but as we were lucky enough to visit the Yamaha Music London store in Central London, we took the opportunity to refresh on these incredible models.
The Yamaha TransAcoustic Guitar has something we've never quite seen before - rich, detailed reverb and chorus adding to the guitar's natural tone… built in to the guitar without any external amplification or effects!
Available in a variety of different body shapes and finishes; you can choose between the All-Solid L range the LLTA and the LSTA. These feature ARE (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology on the spruce top. Paired with a solid rosewood back and sides for a deeply resonant and rich tone. Plus other subtle detailings like the gold tuning heads up on the head stock and the detailed rosette around the sound hole. Or why not go for the F Series, the FS and the FG models - featuring solid spruce top with Yamahas layered mahogany back and sides!
Of course, the most impressive part of these guitars is the onboard effects themselves and whilst this is not the first time Yamaha have implemented Trans Acoustic technology - we know for sure you will be impressed!

i have always really liked Yamaha acoustics. every single yamaha acoustic i have ever heard, has sounded really good to me. the thing is, as time goes on, they seem to be getting better, somehow and keeping their pricing very fair... one of the best acoustics i ever had was a Yamaha A1M in natural. it looked REALLY good and it made amazing sounds. it made me sound better than i actually am. i would also regularly put it up against extremely high end guitars, some some of those REALLY expensive Martins, upwards and over sometimes, of $10k usd. many times, i think the yamaha sounded better and how it sounds is more important than anything else, really. sure, a nice feeling guitar can be bad because it sounds bad, but i have played a few uncomfortable guitars to play and they have surprised the heck out of me with their sound. to me, getting the best sound, with the right tool is ALWAYS priority over everything else, imo

Ok how the hell fid you know I was looking at buying one of these again! I had the solid wood D when they first came out and regretted parting with it. Now more into smaller bodies so looking at the two options.
