Staying at Eftalia Blue Resort & Spa in Alanya, Turkey!!

We flew with Easyjet and stayed for one week all inclusive at Eftalia Blue Resort & Spa.
The hotel itself is extremely clean and looked after.
The main food hall we found to be very mismatched but there was always plenty to choose from. The resort was 24hr all inclusive and whilst the main restaurant is closed, you can help yourself to burgers, chips, spaghetti, salads and fruit juice from bwrgerland. There is also a patisserie next door which is also included in the AI and open between 11am & 3pm
In addition there is also an Italian and Pub Grill A La Carte which is available to visit once per 7 day stay at the resort.
Drinks we found to be poor.
Pools were clean and spacious. The boys loved them! especially the slides and the shallow children's area.
During our stay we enjoyed three excursions which included The Legend Big Kral which we all loved! Lunch, beer & soft drinks were included. They made some stops during the trip for swimming and shopping in the beautiful city of Alanya. They have a photography team on board and the take your pictures with parrots and many poses, at the end of the trip they present you with beautiful framed keep sake photographs which unfortunately come with a hefty price tag of around £100 for about 7 framed pictures and a memory stick.
The excursion itself is a full day and reasonably priced at €110 for two adults and two children.
Excursion number two was the Jeep Safari which again is a full day trip and cost €79 for the four of us. We were picked up from our hotel at 08:45 in a Landrover and taken to a meeting point, here we met several other jeeps and continued on through the mountains whilst having water fights with each other and vibing to the loud music on board! There were 4 stops during the day which included Alana's biggest cave which came with some beautiful views, a public river & pool which was joined with a restaurant. Here we slipped off our shoes and relaxed on the ground level cabanas surrounded by waterfalls and the smell of beautiful local food. We also stopped off at a small local market and bar and then at another picturesque location for lunch which was included in the price. Drinks were not included. We were then taken back to our hotel by the driver.
Excursion number 3 was probably the most fun, we went on the buggy safari which only lasted around 3 hours. Again we were collected from our hotel and taken to a meeting point where we were given a safety talk before buckling up and heading out through the mountains, up hills and through water. It was a bumpy ride and we got absolutely filthy. We were able to purchase masks and protective glasses at the cost of €5 per item. A little expensive so if you are planning doing this trip, I would take your own. We were returned to our hotel where we had the rest of the day to relax.
We made use of the spa during our stay and were able to take the children with us which I loved the idea of. It cost £110 for all 4 of us and this included the salt room, sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and a full body massage. 110% recommend!!!
There is a market just outside the hotel on a Sunday 7am-7pm. It's huge and they have everything. We found it too hot to walk around so unfortunately didn't get to take in the full experience of it. From what we saw though, I would recommend!
We ate outside of the resort twice during our stay, once at Big Ben Pub which we had heard lost of positive reviews about before going out to Turkey. We watched the football here and had a great steak! The cocktails were also on point.
The other pub we visited was The Irish Bar. Again, food and cocktails were great. Prices of these places were average. I believe if you venture out you can get some really lovely food for a fraction of the price.

And we got told to do the buggy instead of jet ski

@@notsosuperleeds thanks so much, it was LONG 2.5 hours but with a stop for refreshments it was more like 3. If we went again we would get a private transfer which is about €80. We’ve heard they’re very good with air conditioned vans that have WiFi, T.V and refreshments

The closest shop & supermarket is a 5 minute walk out of the hotel

@@davidkwvne6857 yes 100%. Ocean is a lot bigger than blue and therefore I think people feel like it seems very busy around the pools and in the restaurant

On a whole tho how was it as a holiday would yon go again

I’m afraid to say, like water… me and hubby drank all day and didn’t once get tipsy, yes you can, a lot of people do this. I’ve also read that people take their own spirits

We were originally booked into Eftalia Ocean Resort. It was on check in at the hotel that they offered us the upgrade. Blue has only been open a few months so I presume they have a lot of empty rooms and want to gain some reviews etc.
I think ocean is a much bigger hotel and therefore seems much busier. I am glad we took the upgrade. You can use all Eftalia resort facilities, they have a few hotels. There is also the island that you can use which unfortunately we didn’t film but didn’t go to much. There’s loads going on at the island
