Just FYI: This video is still valid and has a lot of good info, but the diamonds from GE that I quote in the video is the wrong amount. It has been reduced down to 4212 diamonds per year, all of which can be found in Level 4 of GE. This nerf happened with the introduction of GE Level 5. Happy diamond farming!
Hello UberNerd. Thanks for all the great information, and Time efforts and energy you put into your TH-cam videos . I've made a point to tell everyone on Jaims world to look you up. I hope you get to meet them soon . Again , Thank you . I'm Papa Smurf Jr.
That's about HALF what I average a year with my 7 WW-specific cities. I did accumulate quite a few WW when they were still common in event "daily specials" though, today it would be tough. It's a rare day I pull in less than 200 from those cities - 250-350 is more common, and 400+ is hardly unknown.
I found just making an Iron City filled with Attack bonuses, such as Stage of Ages and doing GE is extremely beneficial for getting diamonds. Very easy to do all difficulties without a sweat.
Anything to do extra GE is great! It just takes a couple of events to get up and running, and then as you get Fountains from GE, you can get more diamond production too!
I'm constantly inviting people to start the game too, as it's another way of farming diamonds. Most people overlook this. I've got permanent links on my video descriptions.
The problem is that the 200% sales are rare, and it seems like you have to purchase diamonds to get them. I've never seen one in my entire time playing.
The 200% deal doesn't give you twice as many diamonds, but 3x as many. It's 200% extra. I get the offer all the time and I've never spent any money on the game.
@@UBERnerd14 Yeah you aren't the only one, others have gotten it and then never see it again. The only things I can think of that influence it is, if you check out the diamond offers, do it at times, both on mobile and PC. Just to see what is available, even though I don't intend to spend anything. Others have speculated, that can influence offers. The only other things I've done is complete the pay 500 diamonds get 1000 diamonds back offer 2 or 3 times.
I have been playing for over two years and now and I have eight wishing wells and one Fountain of Youth in my city. I have never received one diamond from any of them. Am I just unlucky?
Yep. It's a really low chance, something like 1.25%. You basically need a lot to have anything consistent, but even a couple can help once in a rare while
Well, events no longer give wishing wells (except for the very rare fragment in St. Patrick's Day/Fellowship Events). If you want wells, your best bets are to play the Mughal settlement a lot (it's one of the quest rewards), and get/level a Space Carrier. But the ToR is by and large the best provider of FoY/WW in the game.
love how informative the presentation is but you could slow down on your talking, i had to hit rewind a bunch of times to actually digest what you are trying to present. i love the channel its awesome information but its not race to see how fast you can talk on a video. i am new subscriber and appreciate the effort
What are the numbers of SV? This GB is well known for giving barely no diamonds at all. Although some players that levelled it around 130 say that they have some income. So far, I wouldn't recommend this GB.
The odds are really small and it wouldn't be a GB you build for the diamonds. You'd probably want to build the great building for the other aid rewards as well.
@@UBERnerd14 the other rewards are coins, supplies and goods. They are tips comparing to the huge amount that CF gives with recurring quests. It's like 100 goods with full friends list, while CF can give you 1000 per day or more if you're very active in 1.9 threads. If it's not for the diamonds, then SV has no value, considering the amount of FPs to put in.
I have not started a city in a while so maybe the tutorial has changed preventing this but isn't it possible to start a city, get the 100 diamonds to build the Long House and abandon the city w/o completing the quest 'Build 1 Longhouse'?
I think they spent money to make money. Instead of purchasing extra event buildings or goodies, they'd focus on wishing wells. And once you get enough, you're making enough diamonds to become self sufficient purchasing extra currency.
Some Key Numbers as of 8 Nov 2024 for anyone watching this video : 1. Guild Expedition 4 - 4212 Diamonds/year 2. Guild Battlegrounds - 21.6 Diamonds per 100 Fights (Updated: Any league) 3. Yearly cost for Collect All City Productions - 1825 Diamonds per city per day 4. For Collect All City Productions to be sustainable - 10 WW or FoY required per city being collected (ignoring other Diamond sources) 5. If buying Diamonds, buy with 200% offer - 3x Diamonds amount (compared to no sale; does not include event currency) (Guild Battlegrounds math: 48% reward chance per fight x 1% Diamond chance x 45 Diamond reward x Fight count = Average Diamond reward) (Collect All city Productions Math: 5 Diamond cost x 365 Days x Number of cities to be collected each day = Yearly Expense in Diamonds) (Sustainable Collect All City Productions math {calculated with Wishing Wells} : 5 Diamond Cost / [1% Diamond chance x 50 Diamond reward] = 10 Wishing Wells needed to sustain use)
also..I talked with a person who plays on a phone..it seems FoE gives less diamonds if you buy over the phone..why?? who knows..Im not a credit card player either..its always funny cause they buy their way up into the higher ages only to not have the infrastructure of higher age GBs and get tired of being plundered and beat down and quit after dropping all that cash..
It's because mobile app stores take 30% of any purchase you make in apps, so the game gives less diamonds to compensate for them only taking 70% of what you actually pay. However, Inno still takes a hit on each purchase done on mobile compared to those on browser. This is actually a source of some interesting legal battles related to alternate app stores, side loading, etc... I could go on and on, but long story short is app stores take a 30% cut.
I'm not sure what you mean - did all of your troops die? Can you not add units to your army? If you give me a little more info we can probably figure it out :)
Hmmm, there's not really that many options now. I'm curious as to why you'd want to :P You can't really do quests, or GE/GBG, or place many GB. Your best option would probably be to try and win the very rare wishing well fragments in events.
With all the effort required trying to get and place buildings that give or boost diamonds, it's just much easier to buy them. I've been buying them at about $110 for 13,000 diamonds. A couple of times I got more diamonds for the same money. In other words, when I use diamonds, say 10 for an extra guess in the GE, I am spending the huge sum of 10 cents, to buy a BP I might have to spend 200 = $2. To me it's just NOT worth all the aggravation, time, and effort to chase the other diamond-making opportunities, though I will make use of them as they come along naturally.
That's fair, but for many players it's not practical to spend money in the game. While not everyone can spend real money on diamonds, everyone can invest in making more diamonds in game. Even if you purchase diamonds, you'd help yourself by trying to increase diamond production in game. For example, if you complete GE 64 weekly, then that's 7800 diamonds that you didn't have to buy, and you're helping both yourself and your guild.
@@UBERnerd14 Agreed - you are right. I'm just comparing the 1 penny per diamond to the amount of effort required to get them for free in the ga,e. I made at least 250 diamonds across 4 cities with the GE this week. It's strange how much pleasure that gives me for a value of $2.50 :)
Never buy diamonds on an iphone. You end up with fewer diamonds for your dollar because apple gets a cut of all in game purchases. Buying on a PC is the best.
Regardless of mobile game store that's the case. That might change though in a couple years thanks to some EU legislation though, so hopefully it won't be stuck like it is now forever.

Hi! There is also a reward for acquiring some provinces, it would be nice to mention this. Thanks for the helpful video
I played 9 cities for 6 months. I gained 35,000 diamonds! It is definitely a grind.
That's impressive! The more you play the more diamonds you can get, but at what point does it become a job 😛

If you get a 200% sale bonus, you get more diamonds in a purchase on your computer than on phone

Since Inno stop giving WW as daily specials, is it worth to move up to LMA and farm WW Fragments from Mughal settlement?
That's one option. You could also try to get fountains from GE instead, or age up to EMA and use the antiques dealer.
I think the number of Diamonds you can earn in GE has been nerfed since the introduction of GE Level 5 (GE-5).
It has. I updated the description, probably should do a pinned comment
