Growing up in Hawaii put me in an environment for eating a decent amount of unusual seafood, but hilariously related to this video, a nearby Asian market actually had cooked silkworm pupae in the frozen food section! I bought some several days ago as a curiosity and marinated them in teriyaki sauce, and fried them up a few nights to eat with rice. They're very good prepared that way, actually! I'm probably going to buy more and try different preparations methods! I'm a huge fan of entomophagy, so it's always cool to find a reliable source of it. Just after that, I'd say the second strangest thing I've eaten is century egg; wasn't as much a fan of that, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't ever try it again, since there seems to be a decent amount of variety to warrant further examination.

Hey brother, I was curious on where are you acquire your egg crate from I just went to my local places and I don’t have a dermal to cut some of the materials that were available to me and I’m looking for the plastic material. That was cutable that I saw some of your videos.
I have basically the exact set up that you do for your crocodile skinks, but I use a fluval 50 and mine is a 29 gallon and I recently just posted a short about it.

@@Reptiliatus thanks for the reply. I was actually at Home Depot today and the only thing they had look like it needed a Dremel to cut to avoid cracking not the snippers that I saw you using but I ended up figuring out something. I really appreciate your valuable time thank you.

Something about monitor lizards (especially the smaller species) including their head movement is very “bird-like.” I once bred & raised Lady Gouldian Finches in nest-baskets like that so NGL... I got a little PTSD there! I also like the Sinningia Sp blooming in the (cute, googly-eyed) Geoemyda spengleri enclosure!
*PS; I believe those silkworms are genetically modified.*

QOTD answer: The weirdest thing I've ever eaten? I honestly cannot say cause I've never really been interested in doing something like that but when I lived in South Africa, one thing some communities will eat there and is considered a delicacy is Mopani worms. Me personally? No thanks! Loool
I didn't see anything weird aerved in Iran apart from a breakfast meal made out of a sheep or goats head (can't remember which) and the idea of having a cooked head for breakfast was a bit weird to me. In the 5 years I was there, nope. About the only food I didn't try.
