Instant 11/10 this is amazing especially since you can buy more to get bigger dioramas. Buying diorama pieces nowdays are a bit hard but this... Mega has to do something like this!

Absolutely incredible I would love to have this set. Delta Halo is one of those missions that always stands out when I think of halo 2 I think of the ODST drop & the epic Scorpion rampage a few missions prior
I would petition for Mega Construx to open an online store on their website. Where builders can order ordinary blocks or specialty pieces in bulk. Mega would save on packaging costs and builders would not have to dish out lots of money to build beautiful dioramas.
I’ve been saying this for years, this is what separates them from Lego IMO. If they want to reach a bigger wider market and be taken seriously by Lego builders they need to accommodate the moc builders of the world. Mega has huge potential for MOC building it’s just impossible for the average bear given the difficulty and expense getting hold of parts.
This is what is was hoping with the building box. Honestly can't get enough of those flat baseplates, they definitely make or break a good MOC. Nice job brickman!
I have so many early mega sets all of the mega books dragons and pyrates sets in my loft, I might get them out and use the base plates and trees,fires, flags etc I have bins and bins full of foliage, you’ve inspired me haha

This is why I've been getting some Pokemon sets. They have a lot of neat background/foliage pieces. A local store had a bunch of "jungle ruin" sets on clearance I picked up to do something similar to this. I usually end up giving the Pokemon themselves to a coworkers son who is obsessed with them.
I came so close to buying some of those jungle ruin sets for the parts too but even on sale they were still over £60 each so decided against it in the end but they do like good sets for parts. I ended up buying the COD crash site sets on sale instead as I gave s as MOC planned fog those.
Oh you know what would be a great build ideas, do the opening to Halo 3. This will include Chief and his impact crater a few of those new Halo 3 marines with the removable helmets, Sergeant Avery Johnson and the Arbiter. This can also let you reuse the foliage that you used in this Halo 2 set to add that life and detail that you put into it. This would be another viable way to get more terrain pieces, army build marines and get three fan favorite figures. These are beautiful dioramas you make and since Mega actually listens to their consumers for ideas I think you might have started something here.

This set idea looks amazing! I 100% would buy something like this and I would for sure buy multiple of it. I've been collecting Halo Mega Construx since like 2010 and I use to never buy multiples for sets for whatever reason but with how scarce it is to get structure sets or terrain sets from Mega nowadays I would try to load up on this if it was a reasonable price. I'm still kicking myself for never getting more than one attack on highground set so this would be a dream set for me since I love and need more of those big terrain pieces.
i am a lego/mega collector and personally i hate mixxing the 2 but inorder to make Halo mocs i need to. this would be awesome. just 2 of these would litterly double the amount of bricks i hve for Mega. an they should definatly start adding folliage to the smaller sets too. like the mongoose sets could have a little rock or fern and the larger sets like Pelicans and Phantoms could have trees. either way. a set that is meant to be an brick collector is awesome. since lego has done this before i think Mega should as well

Anything with more terrain is a welcome addition to the mega sandbox. I currently have a 4'10"x4'10" diorama that does look great as-is, but it doesn't have mega terrain.
Need more total sets to include everything like you are saying. My son builds some amazing dioramas but they could be so much better if he had more to work with.
Would love to have more foliage and rock formation pieces. Always wanted to make a diorama but can't due to little amount of spare parts and nothing to use
I agree with everything you said. To bad kids now days are loosing interest in blocks in general. Even top to mocs of the week stoped uploading 4 months ago.
Yep, sad times. The only brick based content that’s popular now is TD Bricks type of content, not my cup of tea but clearly millions would disagree given his view and subscriber count.
Foliage and structures, the things mega gives very little on their sets, I think that they have better plant pieces and structures than most brands due to the details and marbling effects (on bricks), if mega decides to put out a set like yours, maybe dedicate a part of their production that makes pokemon sets (they have quite a bit terrain and plant pieces), people will buy that set for sure since awesome figures needs awesome dioramas!!! :)
That’s what’s crazy about the situation, they already make the piece for their other lines, they don’t even need to ‘create’ a set, just compile a foliage pack and market it as Halo jungle foliage, Halo desert foliage etc
Btw don't you have the feeling that Mega is moving more and more towards bricks without shades/camouflage in their sets ? I'm a bit worried about that. They would look like Legos and it's lifeless to me. What are your thoughts on this ?
I agree and am also not keen on it, that said some colours like the dark grey used in the infinite line still has great marbling and looks great yet the banished red, silver and unsc green looks far too flat for my taste.
@@brickman1175 Exactly, especially the silver 😪 For example the new Witcher set. I just received it, overall it's awesome very surprised, but they used flat colors for the roof and wood parts. Totally breaks the vibe 😢 Anyway like always, love your build !! I'm totally doing this kind of stuff once I get enough time and pieces haha
ok yes, we need this set but mega most likely won't do it unless we as a community do something about it. and if they don't do it, I have a solution. all you need to do is buy Pokémon sets they come with trees plants base plates and water pieces. and if you don't want to end up with a bunch of Pokémon just sell the Pokémon.

As a collector/builder, I think we need more Terrain and foliage. But we need more of the original ODST pods.

Very awesome as always! You never disappoint:) The first Moc I did was a halo infinite Banished FOB. Working on a multiplayer battlegrounds MOC next.

I can already think of a few things I could do if I had a couple of these sets
I think we have had way too many vehicles especially warthogs and mongooses.. I’d be extremely down to get more building and terrain sets

Some are from the Pokémon line, some from old Halo/COD Sets and some from a line called MEGA world (again, retired I believe)
Where do those drop pods come from? They’re the most accurate MEGA ones I’ve seen!!!
They come from 2011.
what sets did you get the terrain pieces in?
They come with older Mega Bloks sets, assault on high ground, Rhino tank, Cauldron Clash amongst others.
