Mega should ABSOLUTELY make two or three more of these style sets in the next year or two. I mean, they're perfect for having flood figures, great for marines, and making more modular structure pieces would be amazing for customizing. For people who don't have old flood sets (like myself), Mega would do great to re-release or make new molds for the carrier forms, make a new H3 brute combat form which would be amazing, and maybe even make molds for the other flood pure forms, that being the crawling one and the spike shooting one. Plus, a new flood infected ghost would also be awesome to see. Mega knows the fans love the flood, I hope they keep innovating on them and capitalizing on them. Also, mega could reuse certain combat form molds, such as the elite and a hypothetical brute, just with different ranks. we could see a red elite major combat form, a purple spec ops elite combat form, a brute minor/major combat form, and those would all be very desirable. I mean, they made the mold for the elites, they should absolutely capitalize and make a few alternate versions. They'd ABSOLUTELY sell well.
I have to say mega nailed it with the new floodgate firefight. Even though the master chief is a lone man standing, anyone with this set definitely has more unsc to add! The customization is so vast I have bought 4 of the firefight😮!! The og flood would be my second only because I myself have not been lucky enough to find the second flood gate to add into my collection! Hopefully someday!
Love the consistency between these sets and that the first one is basically part of the new one. I hope I get the first one day because the other two are two of my favorite sets.
Please note the floodgate firefight has a chrome finish on the bronze blocks and not a sparkly rusty finish like the older one. It is rather bothersome in my opinion. I don't think there was anything wrong with the old..
From a styling perspective the consistency is spot on but as Flipbricks rightly mentioned the colour matching is off. This isn’t an issue if you are just displaying them alongside each other like I did but if you want to use all of the parts to build your own the part colours will be noticeably off. More if an issue for some than others.
I could not resists and got 2 of the new one. Now that I see it again, I don't regret it 🤩. Great comparison video 👍. I wasn't even aware of the older versions of the set.
I only found one sell for this first sets, and it was EPIC: around 600€ so still quite equal to 600$ for a sealed box... Don't think it's worth ^^ but i still really interest to get one... But i need to get one at a decent price (i mean few hundred is still too much but a realistic offer) Flood is still my favorite line after NMPD (maybe but it's can be equal too, i'm not sure)

Flood Invasion for me is number 1. Although Floodgate firefight is an amazing set it has a lot of downs for me. One is the new flood elite is limited unlike the old flood parts where you can switch it to either covenant elite or combat form by removing the flood part although it has better articulation. 2nd the Flood Invasion has 2 Flood tank and 2 humans soldiers while the Floodgate Firefight has only one although it still looks good. Also they only included Chief as the good guy when they could have included 2 marines same with flood splatter in it. The only good thing about the Flood Firefight is its a bigger structure than Flood Invasion.
The turntable was purchased from Amazon years ago. Was only about £130-160 from memory. It’s electric and goes both ways. It was advertised as a clothes mannequin turntable for clothing shops.
Depends on what you mean by fit. You can get it in there but obviously the Pelican is much larger than the space as a whole. The back-end fits in well enough.

Depends on what you mean by fit. You can get it in there but obviously the Pelican is much larger than the space as a whole. The back-end fits in well enough.
