I honestly wish this was a epic chapter since it was such an amazing story/event. Though I admit this made me even more afraid of Kiara as she managed to go from being trapped by a demon god to basically killing it and absorbing its powers to become something even stronger. The fact that a demon god pillar, typically one of the final bosses in a singularity was begging to be let go is mortifying since Kiara stripped it of any sentience with glee it seems.
That and I began to actually like Melt who I was neutral on due to how the relationship between the character and her slowly improves over time and I missed her when she sacrificed herself to defeat the sex crazed nun.

Given this story has such far reaching implications in the FGO universe (introducing BB & Alter Egos, major lore regarding Chaldea's organisation and activities, fate of Demon god pillar Zepar, Kiara playing a pivotal role in
Tokugawa Labyrinth which is the prelude to LB4), this really should have been a permanent EOR chapter rather than a limited event.
I managed to get on re-run in last days and couldn't defeat final boss, with only a few hours left to do the missions to weaken her. Ridiculous to make something so huge into a timed event. At least we get it as main Interlude, right?

@@bingo784 I believe they do as they showed them twice in hollow and then carnival and they look the same and more examples are extra Rin looking exactly like Rin with blonde hair as well shows rins genes come into play a lot.
mostly because of ccc since nasu wanted to redo sakuras character as she was underwhelming in fsn being so low in popularity as a main and the whole sakura 5 thing. HF came out so oversaturation comes into play for it now.
I don't mind as bb and melt are wonderful but I do want more Rin faces as space Ishtar is one in all but good. Just give me summer ereshkigal and TOHSAKA and I'll be happy as Rin's alts are closer to her than sakuras as they are different and better than her in general.
Illya just got summer illya so that's fine but I rather see more on sitonai being base illya one day.

Ereshkigal and Ishtar are two sides of Rin and well liked even now and most want an ereshkigal summer since Ishtar hinted at a summer alt again. Also Ruby Rin is a thing too. Even TOSAKA being a joke in capsule is cute in how she remembers shirou but yeah just one alt would be nice.
I remember first seeing miyu and Chloe and thinking "why are there 3 illya" before getting into kalied. I don't count Erika as a illya alt and also justeve in war 3 is just an illya too as well. Also grail did use irisviel and illya as molds too
But yeah in order ereshkigal alt would be fine to get next summer and illya got summer 5 so that's good for now.
Also would love to see zen chan alt as well.

Considering what kicked off the Lostbelt arc and what happens when finishing a Lostbelt chapter... I'm eager to see what happens later in the story.

Actually been waiting for this one, didn't play the event but the wiki on it is all over the place.
From what the manga shows apparently this version of Kiara was really nice, went place to place healing people, sorta like Emiya but after some unfortunate events ended up doing to Seraph when this takes place. Pretty sad really.
Funny enough, Kiara has the parameters to become the Saver class. Same a Buddha, but, because of her "quirks" she can't. Now she's a Alter Ego and a Moon Cancer. Saver Kiara soon?
I wouldnt be surprised if she qualified for rider and assassin as well. Rider for Medb reasons, and assassin for obvious reasons.

in terms of money making it would be a good choice for dw to make since the saver class would open up so many slots for alter arts same as the other extra classes.

The more Extra stuff I see, the more I want to see costumes for each Extra Servants ‘Mystic Code of Legend.’ Like Nero’s ‘Legendary Mystic Code of the Emperor’, Nameless’s Wrought Iron Hero Legendary Mystic Code and Tamamo’s Legendary Mystic Code of the Sun. We pretty much already have Gil’s in his 3rd Ascension so I figured it’d be cool to have these costumes for the other 3 Extra Servants
Don't care what anyone says, THIS WAS PEAK EOR IN TERMS OF STORY (shame they had to timelock it during the actual event itself though)
I found it weird that Tristan is in the story along with Emiya alter despite neither being related to fate extra, I guess Demiya is related to Kiara in some way and maybe Tristan got summoned alongside Gawain
The fact the fgo's world version of Kiara was presumably a normal person is astounding, you'd think she would be a weirdo in every world but whatever,but her NP in fgo is as weird as fuccin a planet in the ccc game if not weirder

Emiya Alter had history with Kiara in life. As for Tristan, from what I hear there's a small line about him having been summoned by one of the Masters in the Moon Cell Grail War, but Hakuno never met Tristan on the battlefield.

I feel this story did better for melts character than ccc did as we go through 1(2) journeys with her and the whole time to flesh her out more so than ccc.
Overall the story was great and like summer 3 a top favorite for JP fans being very interesting done. Lip was ok but nothing too special while bb was super fun in her role as bad guy until we saw the true villain.
The knights were cool to see after Camelot in thier true personality and demiya as well as he hunted down the real threat and actually go to shoot her.
But yeah definitely a great read
Thats kinda the point, in ccc both melt and lip dont know how yo love just that they are based on it which is why kiara is the true villian as the one who really cant love others but the game ends with us winning because kiara was no match for their love us hakuno, the seraphx has melt and lip where they've already learned this leason and can now grow beyond it unlike kiara who pretty much learns that at the end
@@sdbzfan1 well Kiara did mess with white blossom and that in term changes bb but overall Kiara is selfish on a lot of sides and arrogant since demiya manged to shoot her when she was thinking she would win.
Melt knew a bit more than lip who died in ccc pretty quickly and even can like nameless if you have the female master so it was a good idea to have melt be the main as bb already has all her character done in ccc.
Plus Kiara won in the last timeline so the win was double good especially with melts character coming back again. So sad but So good
Bb by the end in ccc I didn't consider a villain so much just overprotective in her own way like summer 3 where she is protecting us from the horror of lostbelt in her twisted way. I like her more than mashu and Sakura even fujino in that kohai role
@@ivanbluecool oh hell yeah, bb to me fixes a lot of sakuras character from stay night as she not not tragic for the sake of tragic and unlike Mash has sides to her rather than just kohai, BB is selfish, bb is caring, bb is a trouble maker, bb is a pervert, bb is comanding, i like Mash but as a character BB is better than Rin for me which puts her above everyone else
@@sdbzfan1 well Rin is my top on many angles considering she isn't as ancored down as saber and Sakura are to shirou but has a closer bond in most stuff to him and her story does continue with all the little things like dismantling the grial and how she is post hf as well. She is in a very small group of characters in anime manga and video games that I like before I know them but love after seeing the story unfold. Especially in the three routes as she is always relevant. But yeah she is one of few I put on that level.
Bb is my favorite Sakura face and kohai overall as Sakura cant compete and is rather boring and overall bb did everything she did but better in every way and mashu while her story was great seeing her grow to the end of part 1 she can be annoying sometimes and I love mashu but overall bb hits all angles best. Plus funny enough bb is more a hero each story goes with foxtail especially seeing kaguradrop take the villain role and summer 3 is great as well.
For saber face I like mhxx most overall. She has a job for one and even as a joke servant she is very fleshed out and the mech is a good addition as well.
For illya it's base illya. She is great and even without a route was a top favorite for me and most people and she is more tragic than Sakura considering she always dies and better as she can go from hero to villain depending but still great.
@@ivanbluecool funny enough Foxtail introduces all the sakurafaces which made me love Violet, Kingprotea is right up there with the other kids of chaldea as while they tried to kill me are adorable once on your side, see Jack in the apocrypha event, Tamamo and Suzuka bounce of eachother so well it kinda made me prefer Suzuka as her rival rather than Nero, Nero and Elizabeth fill that roll with eachother
Back to foxtail for a sec, BB trying to hold stone face only for Hakuno's genuine sincerity to break her down and just go "stop stop" just made me love her more, she's such a troll that actual good will trips up her devilish persona because she doesn't want to seem easy to read
All in all anytime I get to see BB is a treat for me and it makes me want to continue the extella time line just because the sakura 5 would work in it's context of Hakuno wins the grail war and now rules seraph to protect it, the Sakura 5 could be seen a anomally's that threaten seraph and must be eliminated, only for the true end to allow them to coexist with Seraph and Join Nero, Tamamo, Elizabeth and Altera as part of the harem

Hello Dai, Thanks for the lore of this event, because I couldn't read CCC on NA so far and could only play CCC rerun on JP but couldn't read, I'm very grateful for this lore video.
But if I had a request, would it be possible to make some FGO events short lore videos? for example the Christmas or Halloween events? or others who are based on the anime and have a crossover event?
I hope we get the rest of BB alter egos.

Fun fact: in this story, Lip is actually acutely aware of the size of her hands, so she tries as hard as possible not to touch anything.
The manga version of this event is even more crazy than the game's! First off, normal Fate/Grand Oorder Kiara is actually a really good person, and doesn't have the terrible character traits of her Extra version. Second off, Ishtar and freaking Kazuradrop are here! (Thankfully, BB disabled most of Kazuradrop's abilities, which is great because otherwise everything would get even worse (Read Fate/Extra CCC Foxtail to understand why, it's really good). I was genuinely worried/panicked about her appearance there until that bit of information was revealed).
AND THE SERIES RETURNS
Well, Kiara's just all kinds of twisted. As an Alter Ego, she may no longer be going out of her way to prey upon other people, but she's still "awaiting in anticipation for the moment when the Master will lose to desire and indulge in her, [even as] she cheers on so that they do not lose to her temptations", as if it's basically a forgone conclusion that it will happen, eventually.
Honestly, I'm fairly sure that half her reason for doing so is just for her own perverse tendencies. As she said, "-to throw oneself into battle at many ages, many places... I would also like to have a taste of that myself." She just wants to beat up new things and get beat up by new things, everywhere and everywhen.
All that said, I'm rather looking forward to Kama's event in April, as from what little I know from the intro of that event, all Servants seem to go missing except Kiara, who the Master doesn't seem to properly recognize or remember (at least, from the translated playthrough I was watching; maybe the Master hadn't managed to summon her, so dialogue options were different? I don't think that's a thing, but I can't exactly say it's not, with how many Servants I have...), who proceeds to join in in helping resolve the event/singularity. Given her connections to everything, I'm kinda looking forward to how that all pans out.

I was unable to play the SERAPH Event when it first came out because I was still in the middle of beating Camelot, so sadly I couldn't participate in the event nor get BB as a welfare servant.
But it seems Fate had decided to give me some luck because, I was able to summon Melt on the New Years banner, get Passionlip and Kiara during the 9 million download campaign and I even got Summer BB. So I didn't get to play the SERAPH event, but in exchange I got Servants related to SERAPH.
Now with the SERAPH Event coming back next year, I can't wait to play to finally play it and get that Welfare BB.

ccc has been out for so long that the chances of an official english release at this point is probably zero.
the ccc event in fgo is already 4 years old or so.
and with the rerun in na being the last time it will come up outside of the new extra feature for events with welfare servants that we should be getting sometimes in 2021/22 ccc will end up like tsukihime.

Could you perhaps make a video explaining the timeline of the events that happened between Solomon and LB1? Like how Romani both does and doesn't exist given the weird chronogy and alternate dimension stuff that isn't really outright stated anywhere. I still am not sure I understand how long the Remnants took or how they could avoid the Alien God during this in-between period.
Those are great questions. I personally need to learn more about the alien god to see if it could have been avoided.
well salem and shinjuku canonically only took a few days to a week each.
shimousa was maybe a week or two at most (probably closer to a few days as well) and agartha i have no idea.
if finding the remnants took as much time as solving them then the entire remnant chapter could have been done withing a month or two after defeating solomon.

why haven't we gotten a rerun of this event yet??? Unless what I'm seeing in the shop IS the rerun without it saying Re: or Redux or something like that... When this event came out, I was trying to catch back up through everything because my phone had decided it was a good idea to just...totally reset on me without warning...and I lost everything my first account had, including Ruler Jeanne and Ruler Martha, so I wasn't far enough to do the actual event(game wouldn't let me)....and since the ONLY TWO Moon Cancers that we have are the Welfare BB and Summer BB(Banner Exclusive with limited time), any time I need one for an Avenger fight, I have to grab a friendly one instead of bringing my own....not fair....q.q

Next year. After the valentines event the rerun will be run. This is due to the fact that another event, (which will be released a while afterwards) which hints at whats coming in the fourth Lostbelt, ties directly into what happened in SE.RA.PH. Additionally it will also become the second "Main interlude" due to it's importance and popularity.

8:20 Kiara didn't only corrupt the men. Nasu's blog entry after the event first ran in Japan notes that Kiara had bedded almost everyone at Seraphix, and that the only one she hadn't done it with was the person who unlocked the chamber where the Master Candidates were kept... meaning the woman, Miss Torapain, who sent the distress signal to Chaldea must have also been one of Kiara's bedmates at spme point.
14:20 I'd hardly say that she was betrayed. Suzuka faked being NTR'd by Otakemaru so she could secretly sabotage his invincible armoured hide, but by the time her husband arrived and killed Otakemaru, he legitimately believed that he'd been betrayed. Suzuka realized her mistake in handling the situation and let herself be cut down without an attempt at explanation.

There's a channel called ZVN that takes translations and overlays them with game recordings. Definitely the best option at the moment.
