I have the Kingston version of the Cloud II, and have been using it for over 6 years now, and wear it for a few hours almost every day, and love it. Works a treat, nothing is broken or worn out on it, and I love the sound quality. I had to replace the mouth piece once, and that's because it got lost. Sadly, if you need a new mouth piece for the Cloud II, you'll be hard pressed to find a Kingston one, as Kingston was taken over by HP a few years ago, and their version of the Cloud II is slightly different to the Kingston version, and not interchangeble. A typical corporate thing to force you to buy a full new replacement in my opinion. I've seen quite a few videos comparing the Kingston & HP versions of the Cloud II together, and almost all have been negative towards the HP version. Here's hoping the Cloud III is a reasonable upgrade over the current HP Cloud II.
@@KamanliMertEfe. I have the original Cloud II from when I bought it back in 2016, and it's still going strong. The Kingston company was bought out by another company, and the quality has gone down, so I'm led to believe. So when they're saying that the Cloud II is better than the Cloud III, I believe they're refering to the original Cloud II, Not the current version of the Cloud II, which they're saying has gone backwards in quality.
I got the hyper x cloud 3 1- the mic sounds amazing 2-they don’t have that much bass tbh ( iam a metal head so i really don’t care about that ) 3-the dts is good but i have tried in a few games like valorant / apex tbh it kinda misses up the sound like for example i can hear my own footsteps twice and gun shots twice from a different area so yeah it got me confused and turning around myself so i eventually i turned it off Hopefully they will get that fixed soon
Thank you for your insights! I just ordered and it's on the way I'm excited it's my first gaming headset. I got it for $61 in my country coz it was last stock and had discounts.
@@KamanliMertEfe Hi, it's my first gaming headset so I can't give good answer because I have no experience compare with the older headset or any other gaming headset for that matter. But because it's somewhat neutral tuning I am able to tune it to my liking using Steelseries Sonar app (free). If you want great sound out of the box, I can suggest Sennheiser EPOS H6 Pro.
@@KamanliMertEfe tbh i use it for almost everything ( games like CS2 , Valorant ,,,,,,etc) and also watching movies bec they have the dts which make them sound great , but i have to say in music they dont have that much bass but since iam a metlalhead idc that much tbh like its not too bad and about the bug that i was talking about before they fixed that so i would totally recommend it 100%
@ its like a normal headphone without the dts ( the sound is still good ) But when you turn on dts ( there will be a noticeable difference to be honest ) i would recommend to turn it on it will sound a lot better for music or gaming
For a budget set of headphone you won't find better. The cloud two hits the mark. The 3 has controls of the headset which is nice but the mic is good and the sound punches above its weight.
Hello, I'm facing a problem connecting my Cloud 2 to the Xbox Series S, no matter what USB port I connect them to, the console still doesn't see them, nothing works
Sir from "HYPERX CLOUD EARBUDS 2" is this truly a 7.1 sound surround? Some saying yes but not truly what does 7.1 sound surround do. Im having a hard time to decide if I'll buy this.
Its VIRTUAL 7.1 surround sound, created by the software in the earbuds. If you want real surround sound you need a home theater system that comprises of several speakers and subwoofers/woofers that are placed around the room.
I only buy wireless headsets due to my wired headsets chords getting tangled and twisted which leads to eventually killing the headset. I've had my cloud 2 wireless headset for 2.5 years and not had a single issue with them. Battery is even still great. Hoping the cloud 3's get a wireless version down the line
You can hold the cord from the jack and gently let the headset to the ground, then by holding the cable up lift the headset and it will untangle itself by spinning in the right direction, it takes 10 seconds and needs to be done like once a month. Had the wired version for a while now no problems.
In 10years the cloud 1 had one problem the wire must be changed and the leather , pads and microphone. Not a removable jack, big mistake . The wireless 300h are looking good .
many complain that cloud 3 is offensive. the sound is like in a barrel, but I kind of like the sound in cloud 3, I'm not a music lover to listen to music
