I had a guy in this spring’s Big Bass Bash that had his boat about 30-40feet from the bank, fishing out towards the deeper part. So we were gonna go in between him and the bank since he was fishing the opposite direction. It was that or go through where he was fishing which I felt would’ve been worse than going through the shallower part since he wasn’t even facing that direction. Plus I was using the trolling motor on a low power setting so it was quieter and wouldn’t disturb him or the fish near him as much. Needless to say, we get close and are going by him, he spins around casts right in front of my boat, and I mean like right in front to where I had to turn the trollin motor backwards to not run over his line. He immediately starts cussing myself and my partner up and down, saying all kinds of stuff. When I told him dude, I’ve watched you fish the opposite direction the entire past 30min as we’ve made our way down bank. He denied it and said he was fishing towards the bank the whole time. He said he was going to report us to the tournament officials, and I told him please do, because if you do, I will happily show them the GoPro video footage of the entire incident. I would rather just go on with my day, but we can play that game if you want.
I was fishing for catfish from the bank one time and a boat came by and thought it would be funny to make some waves for us got ahold of my line and I opened the bail and let them have all 250 yds of 30 lb braid
When i was a little kid me and my dad had a wave runner drive behind is while we were trolling for white bass with a rattle trap i was just a kid and had no clue he ran into my line. I set the hook when my rod bent ! I should have saved the piece of his life vest i tore off. I thought it was funny he drove off and i don’t think he will forget that.
Great video as always! These idiots out on the water I'm not sure if they came from the surge in fishing with Covid or not, but I've ran into quite a few myself on the water or at the ramp! lol
Stockton Lake yesterday, two boats off the point and this guy trolls for a half mile to cut between me and the bank. Then... guns the motor to wake us and yells, "Don't let me get in your way!" I responded, you're trolling I'm sitting still Dude. Funniest part was guess who was at the ramp when I pulled out? He was standing knee deep in the water yelling at his wife driving the truck while he was trying to drag the baot on the trailer after getting is sideways. They saw me coming and as I was pulling to the dock they jump in the truck and drive out with the boat crooked on the trailer. Then... they drive out of the parking area to stop and strap it down... ;) Careful who you yell at, you never know where they may show up..

I was gonna drive my boat up onto the side of his John boat and sink it ,but I didn’t,he’s lucky 🍀 and I stayed out of jail to fish another day ,anyway keep up the great content thanks
Truman has honestly been were I’ve seen some of the rudest people the last few years. Dock owners can be rude when your fishing around their dock at LOTO but I’ve had more people go out of there way to be rude or disrespectful at Truman than any other lake. It used to not be that way and hate that the community is going that way. Way to keep a cool head in the end
