Coming out of Romiley on reverse to Manchester there used to be a line to the left which ran below Bredbury station before veering left to the old Stockport Tiviot Dale station and on to Manchester Central station.
For Central Trains you needed to know 150 156 158 and 170. Plus Worcester cut-off via Droitwich via Kidderminster via Camp Hill and via Sheet Stores. Not just a 158.
MrEkg98 That is not what he asked. Judging by the class 158 First livery (seen just after leaving Man Picc) it may have been filmed in about 2004 as I remember that livery at that time, before I moved from Manchester. I hope someone can be more precise.
Mid 2000s sounds about right, when First had taken over the Transpennine express routes but they were still using Class 158s, and they had that hybrid livery.
It's between February and December 2004; the TPE 158s have First branding (franchise start Feb 04), and most of the 142s still have First North Western branding, FNW became part of Northern in December 04

At 18:30 we pass an HST on a St Pancras-Manchester Picc ‘Rio’ service so that would make it 2003-04.
