Finally, more "unique" divers, and not just Seiko homages. Nothing wrong with those obviously - they are just no my thing, and I just like seeing you coming out with more original designs. If I ever buy an Islander, a Bayport will be the one (at least from the current catalogue). An original design, no crown guards, 40mm, ceramic lumed bezel, sloped bezel (finally!), 20mm lug width, sapphire with AR, solid female endlinks, matching date windows...that's just a stunner! I especially love the rootbeer.

My wife picked up a Root Beer and it is beautiful. It fit me when we got it. We removed five links and the negative end links shape the bracelet perfectly for her smaller wrist. Amazing that a watch on a bracelet could fit well on either of us. The lume is blinding on this watch! The matching date wheel in a gold window is perfect. If I wasn’t holding out for a GMT, I would get one of these as well. These are an amazing value. This watch actually looks better in person than in the picture.

I just received my ISL-84 in the mail and put a Hirsch Robby Orange strap on it and it is by far my favorite watch. I was blown away by the quality and after seeing the blue dial Bayport in this video I may just have to buy another :)

Really like that you branched out. Only thing that would have really kicked this off is having a Miyota 9xxx in here. Also, will you ever go with the non-stamped clasps at some point? Regardless, the dials are beautiful on these...really like the way they glean in the light
Do a LJP G100 instead of Miyota. Still Citizen Group but 68 hour power reserve. Also you could do a LJP L100 and have a GMT version. Also would like a 1200 Vickers hardend coating.

Micro Brands like Islander have a following of enthusiasts that would value the Hi Beat Movement and the 68 hour power reserve. If anything Zelos demonstrates that once these limited production enthusiast oriented watches sell out they are sought out on the second hand market and they appreciate. So the $300 cost can be retained in the watch. I for one would scope one up.

The clasp adds a bunch to cost; I do it on the 74 and 86 models. Miyota would be awesome.
