- When the Bayport was released in mid-2022, it was an instant success. Especially that gray model! Well, the gray and root beer models are back, and three new ones have been added. They retain the same 40mm case, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel and comfy H-link bracelet.

The color matched date wheel is a little detail that makes these look so cohesive and "finished" compared to anything else in the price class.

I really like the Logo with ISLANDER written out underneath. It's a nice balance with the text below. Nice improvement while sticking to your beloved logo. 😉

"(some) got... Phased out" at the end of 2022. Heard & commenting while wearing my BEAUTIFUL GREEN BAYPORT purchased at 12:31 pm on Thanksgiving Day. Simply an outstanding all-around, daily-wear dive watch. 40 mm with the H-links makes this a joy to wear, and the all green dial/date make it a joy to see.

These look fantastic! My wife got me a Root Beer (Root-Port 😁) last year and I love it. The "Ghost" one is my favorite of the new bunch. And I am so glad I got a Northport Seafoam before they sold out again, which I see already happened on your site. Can't wait to see what else you have coming this year! I need another box for my Islanders alone 🤣

Looking forward to more purple releases! This one just wasn't for me since the bezel was not the same shade as the dial and I'm not a yellow gold fan.
Upon subsequent viewings, that purp/gold has a very noble & distinguished look. Perfect to wear while drinking some Crown Royal and watching the Vikings 🤷🏼 I hope it sells well; I like the non-traditional dial colors, and that "trendy" Tiffany blue is very much over done lately. I always get a comment when I wear my Islander x Spinnaker Croft in the BRED colorway. The red that was used on it is *very* vibrant and eye-catching (w/o being gawdy).
Here's to more Islander collabs (and OG drops, and retro reissues, lol) in 2023 🎉
Beautiful watches Mark congratulations. I am glad you removed the japan movement text from the bottom of the dials. It was a deal breaker for me when I went to buy your restocked sea foam. I was so looking forward to buying that watch. Maybe if you do another run you could delete that from the new production. I would definitely buy one.
Looks great, but wish it had a highbeat Miyota. And maybe it could be a smidge thinner with a 9039.

The Bayport is such a great watch - I have the blue original and it stands out for me for sweet winding and friction free date and time setting - I have watches that are near the same price but with which it is a constant battle. Excellent lume, too. I fancy a bumblebee next!

The Bumblebee is calling my name. The Ghost has to be the best white dial diver I have seen. White dials with silver hands just don’t have the contrast I need. You hit it out of the park with the black hands!

That white dial is beautiful but it would be even better with a black bezel. Too much glaring white otherwise. I don't wear yellow dials but I'd buy the bumblebee just to look at it every day! Beautiful.
The purple one looks really nice moreover in darkness! It can also be a very nice stylish dress watch if it is 12mm thick.

Marc - how could you know? A long long time ago I went to a ritzy school that had purple blazers with gold stitching around the pockets; we wore purple and gold ties, too. The sports uniforms were . . . unforgettable. So one part of this vid made me twitch uncontrollably

Welcome back! Bayport(Original watch from Long Island) By the way, what's the main purpose to create many colors for same watch in the watch industry..? To give people more options to choose (same like a car?) or to make people buying more than just one for same model? I'm just curious.. Maybe both?
The white dial/black hands is one of the few legible, white dialed watches. Too many have silver hands and/or silver markers making them unreadable. Thank you Marc!

Missed out on the root beer last time. Unfortunately I don't really care for the additional Islander under the logo and the price increase. So maybe I will wait for the next version. Make a 38mm with the date at 6 o'clock.

The Bayport Root Beer is the winner! My prediction is that this colour way will sell out first. The contrast between the Root Beer and its bright indices will give it a glow after dark to remind us of a warm summer night. I would love this in a GMT variant. How great would that be with the little red aircraft motif on the GMT hand. This watch with the new Seiko GMT movement would be perfection.

The Grayport is the star of the show, for sure. However that yellow is the one singing to me. Other than Doxa and Spinnaker’s Dumas the yellow dial options out there are pretty lacking. Bumblebee on the way, thanks Mark, you read my mind!

Beautiful watches - i'd have a hard time deciding on one but I think the blue is my favourite (i'm a boring person). Though I kind of wonder how the yellow would look with a black dial, and yellow hands and markers.

The blue original Bayport is one of the best if not the best looking Islander ever, when I wanted to buy it it was discontinued, story of my life 😀

These all look amazing Marc! I love the white dial ISL-173, however, I would have done a fully lumed sapphire insert with black print for night visibility. A diver with non-glowing black lume on the white ceramic bezel insert is unfortunately kind of useless. Glad to hear you fixed the lumed hand problem as well.
