In view of the rapidly developing digital scenario, the government is preparing to bring Digital India Act i.e. DIA 2023. This Act will replace the two decade old Information Technology Act 2000. Along with that, ‘Shrestha Yojana’ has been launched by the ‘Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment’. Under this scheme, residential high schools will be built in Scheduled Caste dominated areas. 'Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas' is the broader form of Shrestha.
Recently Professor Claudia Goldin was awarded the Nobel Prize in the field of Economics. Goldin has conducted research on women's earnings and labor market participation. Their research reveals the reasons for change as well as the main sources of gender differences.
In other section, recently the sixth edition of PLFS i.e. 'Periodic Labor Force Survey' was released. This report has been shared by 'National Sample Survey Office'. It has been told through the report that there has been a decrease in the unemployment rate in the country.
