Zen Buddhism and it’s study changed my life, people know about German and ancient Greek Philosophers but Japanese Philosophers are not less in any regard. Japanese Philosophy is more Dharmic centric as Buddhism had a very big influence on it. Japan is known for it’s technology and fast trains and some unique cuisine but few people know about Japense Philosophy, this area must also be explored by Indians thoroughly.

I respect your opinion but we do also have great texts like bhagvad geeta and arthshastra we should go towards them as japanese progressed because 'they valued their principles'
This is a thing we should learn from them

Japan follows a simple principle of Kaizen...taught from school kids. It means what you have done better or differently today than yesterday. This is small but continuous improvement. They strictly follow pdca -plan do check and act...We Indians happy with plan and do...no check to verify what we have done is proper and ACT if anything missing. This CHECK and ACT has made big difference.
Even if you deliver a ream of pages( 500 pages) to a Japanese office. They check whether ream has 500 papers as promised...otherwise they reject it.
This quality conscious and business of checking with check list is what we lack.
That is why our public roads are so pathetic...before contract execution both parties should have check list. ..deliverables will be very clear and no dilution of it after acceptance. .period.
This pdca not for just office.Even everybody follows it ...even before leaving public toilets....It is a way of life.
Even for a small task...before declaring it or concluding it as complete do this CHECK and ACT...then see over a period of time how big difference one can make.
