I've just noticed I have what sounds like a loose bolt rattling around the drum. There's nothing in the user portion of the drum. I've barely used it, but I do love it. It dries damp rain clothes just as quickly as my old hot energy guzzler with its big air use. Do you have any suggestions?
@@big_guy-wi1bf cool we sold our house and the new owners kept that dryer and they love it too, but it has some quirks, but it fits a unique place in a 125 year old house
Since you said they offered, I'm wondering why you didn't just have them send you a new one. I have the same dryer, only 7 months old, fan belt is broken but also looks like grinding has been happening with the motor. Great idea for the stand!
kfx216 well there was some deal they offered with sending an entire new one and it had to do with paying for shipping I believe which was exponentially more than receiving the free motor part . I mean I installed the motor and while it wasn’t easy it was FREE. You should contact them and see what they are offering you.
@@georgiabigfoot Thanks for your quick reply! Have you had any additional problems with the motor or belts? I bought mine at HD, so may just return and get a new one. I need a working dryer and can't afford to wait forever. Plus, some of my screws on the back look to be hex, and I don't have a hex wrench of that size to even get the belt back on.
Hello, I am actually replacing my motor for this same Exact dryer and I completely forgot to take a picture of which wires get attached to each other and I was wondering if you could tell me what wires you attached to which thank you so much.
I have the same one, ezbuy number rings and can't get through, emailed them send pics , receipt . Still haven't received my I think blower belt that's on the back . The manual has nothing about the belts at all. I'm not comfortable servicing this myself . Anyone who can voids the warranty.
Liz Arellano I used the Sandusky 24x36 wire shelving from Amazon . Cost $109. Thanks for watching www.amazon.com/dp/B007O3N0YO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1SxKDbAXQ7BA1
georgiabigfoot Hi! May you please show us more of your stand? How you have it set up or how you put it together please. Just bought my Panda and was looking for something sturdy and “Bam” came across your channel. Take care! 💋
Do you still have the how to video they sent you? They sent me the motor and when I asked about instructions or a video they said they didn’t have one. My boyfriend is handy enough but he wants to be sure he’s doing it right
Thanks for watching , our unit still works great. Of all the videos they deny me there wasn’t a how to replace the motor video, I just knew how to match up the wires with each other.
georgiabigfoot Thanks for replying! My boyfriend is in HVAC so I’m sure he could figure out the wires. But he’s afraid that he has to unscrew everything bolted down to reach the motor to remove the old one. Is it fairly straight forward? He also had hip replacement surgery right before we got the replacement motor so we’ve just been waiting until he recovers and can get on his hands and knees to do it. He’s handy so I just want to give him the confidence he can figure it out! Also, our timer dial no longer turns. Did you experience that?
Beautytube w/Babs havent had an issue with the timer, I did have to unscrew a bunch of things to get to it. The unit is light so put it on a table so he can pull up a chair to work on it
Thank you! I have the magic chef version (I learned these compact dryers are all basically the same, just branded differently). This is very helpful!

Your a legend for replacing this yourself.
I’m known as Bad Mutha Johnson , but thank you
I have a Black & Decker portable dryer, it will not heat, and it will not shut off unless you open the door. How do I fix those things?
i have a noise sounds like swishing when dryer is operating
You should contact ezbyonline

What kinda noise was it a tic tic sound ?
Grinding noise due to a faulty bearing
That's ME! It sounds like a loose bolt in the drum. Do I have to try to fix this now or should I run it into the ground? It still works.
I have a whining noise coming from my dryer. I tried to find their contact in the manual and was unable. do you think you could post it here?
It’s all at ezbyonline.com

We need to replace our motor, did you need to use a soldering iron?
I used heavy duty Dorman crimpers with high quality insulated butt connectors
It was easy to fix by yourself?
Jason Toni I wouldn’t call it easy, I did it but it was frustrating
Lord I don’t want to chance the motor
