Holy shit! Thank you for this! I am the biggest Glenn Hughes fan ever - saw him with Deep Purple on the Burn tour in Chicago and loved him in Trapeze. A true legend - and a gracious gentleman.

TRMillerBass I too saw Glenn on the Burn tour in Houston at the massive Astrodome. Great show! Hughes and Blackmore ruled the stage that night. Love Glenn’s tone on the “You are the Music..” album. Perfect mic’d cab recording.
Glenn is a fantastic singer and bass player! Love Yamaha basses! Nice Orange amp setup. Simple and to the point!

That was super interesting, Glenn!! I love the way bass sounds through Orange, but I haven't played guitar through one I liked so much...too muddy, the short time I've played through two, anyway. I would love to see you go through your electric guitar collection some time. :) Hope all is well (if you see this), can't wait to see you again!!

Actually it was the second iteration of a yamaha glenn hughes bb series bass
The very first one was in the previous bb shape (with different pickguard, pickups and controls) this one is in the present lighter body/neck configuration, with ordinarily shaped pickups but, yes: never made it into production
Just got my Yamaha BB435 in the mail. WoW. Just wow. Yamaha is doing great things.
