- Our 2-week Vietnam adventure didn’t exactly start as planned. Typhoon Yagi hit just before our arrival, leading to landslides, road closures, and intense rainfall. With our dream of riding the Ha Giang Loop on the line, it looked like our plans might be ruined. But against all odds, we managed to push through, and what followed was an unforgettable journey through this incredible country.
The trip wasn’t just about dodging storms and riding through epic landscapes, though. We spent two amazing nights in Ninh Binh, where we explored its iconic limestone karsts and peaceful rivers. Then there was Hanoi, a city full of life and energy. We partied it up on Beer Street, caught an electrifying live performance by Zonza at Hanoi Rock City, and even got tattoos at the legendary 1984 Tattoo Studio-a perfect memento of the trip.
From the stunning views on the Ha Giang Loop to the nightlife of Hanoi, this adventure had it all: culture, excitement, and a few wild surprises. So sit back, enjoy the highlights, and get a taste of what makes Vietnam such an unforgettable destination.

Welcome to Vietnam ✌️🫰🇻🇳😃
in Vietnam... although the kitchen is not as nice as a western kitchen, most meals are heated with fresh ingredients prepared traditionally... every meal is always hot and finished within the day, rarely is a meal stored cold for another meal.
Damn man, that trip was dope!!
It most certainly was!
Your lady friend must have balls of steel to sit behind you on that bike mate, quite a few hairy moments. Great video
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!
What month was that you were there? I was there in 2016 on a 17 day guided tour but I'm going back in June 25 backpacking with my 17 Yr old grandson and we're planning on doing the loop, can't wait
@WilliamStewart-dx3so thanks for your comment. If you watch from the start, you’ll see we went in September and barely missed the typhoon:
