I remember in early 80's these cost £1200 for a 350 and the average weekly wage for 40 hours was £65 take home pay. Times have changed.

@@itchingtoride yes but a lot of things have gone badly down hill too! This country has become a dumping ground for migrants from all round the world and we are paying for them to be looked after. Things are in a bad way really.

Great to watch. Will shortly be stripping down an '86 GT750 Kawasaki to do the same thing. Small repair on frame required then powder coating many bits and pieces and hopefully have it like new again. Close to original as possible : ]

Hi .. I’ve been watching your videos recently and I must say they are really informative and extremely useful. Can I ask one question as I’m in the middle of renovating my 4LO. Did you change the engine mounting bushes (top fronts and rears) ? I’d like to know how easy they are to replace, guessing some heat on the casing and carefully drift them out ?

@@simonarcher7783 Hello. No did not need to change them. Never changed any before. Probably need to press them out. Thanks Mark.

Thanks Mark, mine has only done 12K so some parts ‘should’ be OK to leave.

This is something I really want to do myself but having never stripped a bike before would I know how to put it back together ?

Hello. You should be ok. Buy a Haynes manual and keep parts together in bags and mark them up. Maybe take some pictures or the parts before you take them off. Thanks for watching 😬👍
