Spray Tan Fixes | Streaky Tans & Neck Creases

Correct and fix messy or streaky spray tans YOURSELF with these simple, yet effective tips. Before a spray tan has developed there is still time to fix areas of concern.
If there is makeup in the tanning solution that's been applied it may settle in creases of the skin. Many clients don't want to go the whole day with this issue. More often than not, once the solution is washed off, these creases will disappear. Occasionally though, if a heavy handed spray tan was applied, it may be noticeable even after a shower.
Clients can sometimes get caught in a rain storm, or get perspiration drips on their skin while their spray tan is still developing. This does NOT have to ruin their tan. IT can be fixed.
You'll need 2 items, a sunless tanning cream (spray or mouse) and a cotton pad or tanning mitt. Chose a cream that has ZERO makeup in it, the point is to redistribute the existing makeup without adding more.
By applying self tanning cream and moving the solution and makeup around the affected area you are redistributing the spray tan solution and evening out the color.

Do you do this after the 8 hours? Like after you’ve washed it off and sew results next day!

Briana, great question! Nope :) You need to do this PRIOR to the tan being fully developed while the solution is still on. This helps to redistribute the tanning solution. However if you have splotchiness after your tan has developed our Extend cream can be used to fill in those areas as well.

It’s called bronzer not makeup. Saying makeup can make nonprofessional ladies think your talking about actual makeup on a client 🤦🏻‍♀️

I believe we addressed this however our reply is not showing up. In this video we are discussing how to fix spray tan issues in the creases of necks while the spray tan solution is on the skin. Anyone watching the video knows that we are not referring to someone's everyday makeup. Bronzer is a term used my many spray tan professionals incorrectly. Bronzer is makeup. It's a color additive used for the purpose of makeup. It adds a superficial and temporary color only. Many clients don't understand the term bronzer, they think bronzer is the ingredient that tans them. This video is for clients using terminology that helps to reduce confusion.
