I love the way they stayed true to the original concept of a Spanish house in the 1600s. The details such as the Juliet balconies and the vaulted ceilings made the space more true to the century with a few modern touches. What I appreciate above all is how light comes into the space ❤ Brilliant!
@@Daniel_Zia We moved to Idaho. My father worked for a company in Goleta that transferred him there. We went from mild winters to 30 below zero and waist deep snow. What can ya do?
One thing I noticed about Santa Barbara from both times I lived there: nobody, literally nobody, considers actually parking their cars in the garage. Every single one is full of other stuff - or as this video suggests, convert it into a living space. Hence…every car is parked on the street.
Not this home, but another just like this one. The homeowner expanded another den, bedroom and bathroom, and a first floor laundry off from the kitchen dining area. She had a huge backyard that was able to handle all that was added, just on one level. They did a beautiful job with the design and interior of this home. Its beautiful.
Beautiful house. The only thing that would stop me from buying it is I’m a person who loves long luxurious baths and there is no soaker tub in this house.
Soaking tubs are less common than they used to be in our area replaced by larger walk in showers in many cases. If a property had a hot tub would that compensate for you>?
Beautiful house . The only thing that seems off are the French doors. For some reason the door height looks a little too low ( a little squatty) - feels like they should be a little taller.
It was one of the original constrictions the owners had to work with the really funky original architecture. It looked nothing like that when they started!
It's interesting how many luxury homes only have a single oven. I have two in mind, and frankly, we only use the larger of the two maybe 1-2 per year and rarely, if ever, use both at the same time! Lots of different personal perspectives...
The owner wanted buyers to know that a 4th bedroom as a possibility. For marketing of bathrooms, the property did have four bathrooms. THere is then another location where you can specify if any of the bathrooms are half baths.

I agree!
Santa Barbara is really gorgeous. I had family spread out between Goleta and Carpinteria.
We are blessed to live here. Where did your family move to?

Quite the adjustment for sure!@@michaelnaretto3409
It's a lovely home Spanish inspired home. I like the stone stair going to the entrance.
Me too!

I've never parked once in my garage in nearly a decade!
Very nice. Kitchen and nooks are inviting
It was incredible to watch the project take shape!
Beautiful home!
100%!

@@Daniel_Zia Oh that makes sense.
According to Zillow: Sold: $2,895,000 Sold on 07/13/22 .
Correct! It was a record breaking price for that area at the time.
Zia group never state the price

what kind of stone in the back and side yard?
classic santa barbara sandstone
A single oven? No double oven? Major design flaw, but the home overall is lovely!

Cool, pls do more tours in range 4-8mil
Hey are you rich or you like some of us who be looking and $9000000 and be like naaa but I don't like the kitchen 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Will do 👍🏻
I'm going to buy this house. How much?
It already sold, but we are happy to share other options with you
So it’s advertised as a 4 bedroom, but really only 3 bedroom. Also it’s not 4 bathrooms, but 3.5?!?! Little misleading.

gourgous house
I think so too!
Who said you can't make a silk purse from a sows ear?
Right!? It sure was an ugly duckling when they started
Is the narrator a golf commentator?
Nope.
haha. I've never been a golf commentator. Ironically, I am TERRIBLE at golf!
good
the house is interesting but could be better redefined and decorated.
Thanks for the comment! The home was used as a vacation home and vacation rental by the owners.
A nice place…. I think Santa Barbara has better to offer.
. ..😇
Thanks for the comment!
Not impressed at all
beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Bro.... can u stop talking . Christ
haha, some people like the sound of my voice :)
The people moving to this house probably are rich what is the big deal about the water bill.q
Water in our area is expensive, so the private water company with a lower price per unit of water was a nice selling feature
