That's a awesome car I am a big Mopar guy so seeing a 1971 Demon getting brought back to life is cool stuff even though it's a slant 6 3 speed car it's just as cool as a 340 4 speed car in my opinion anyway I can't wait to see how it comes along
Cleaning up beautifully! I can't believe it still has the original gas cap! SUPER STRAIGHT CAR! By the way, those are '72 A-Body "Base/Cheap" seats someone put in there. The '71 originally had a nicer bench seat with adjustable headrests. Later, I'll be watching.
The car is in great shape for how long it’s been sitting outside! Thank you for the information on the seats. I thought they had been replaced but wasn’t sure what they came from! Now I know 👍🏼
the body is in surprisingly good shape - little rust and it looks like the floorboards after the shovel out seem solid.. good base to work from .. Great job. looking forward to the next phase.
I was very surprised at how good of condition it is in after all these years! Gonna need some floor pans and good bit of frame rot to address but nothing to bad! Thanks for watching.
Beautiful car! The body is straight as an arrow. I just hope that the slant six isn't seized though. Otherwise, you can always swap the engine, by putting in a new rebuild Mopar 318 ci 4 speed two barrel carburator motor. The colour looks great and it reminds me of a Burgundy red. The interior is not bad at all either. Good! luck, with your new vehicule restoration project. I'm pretty sure that with a little investment, you can always restore this car back to concours and get an excellent price for it in classic car shows. Thank you! The car was originally parked because the motor was knocking… we will do a video pulling it out and going over it. We do have 2 340s laying around we have considered putting in it and changing it to 4 speed. We sure are excited to bring it back to life! Thank you for watching Jean!

Well if you got a 383 steel crank truck motor sitting around ....... Be sure to tie the frame together. Leave the 6 cylinder torsion bars in it, better weight transfer esp for a Big Block build.
Nice live Oak in the back ground. Don't know where you based.. Heart of texas barn finds just cleaned up a junk yard. He got one for parts. The machine operator ripped it up. Strange colour combo. Brown and lime green interior. I'll follow along. See what you do.
Looks just like one of three stolen from me back in 88 in nebraska had a gold 318 auto an orange 6cyl auto and the purple 6cyl 3 on floor all stolen from my pasture. NOT SAYING THIS IS ONE just saying I miss mine and hope you do this car justice. I had a 74 dart hang ten too, I was a bit of a collector.
@@514garage I've been trying to find a demon for over 35 years and I found a slant 6 automatic in worse shape than yours for 900 bucks. But because of cancer in both Lower quarter panels I passed, they didn't have patch panels back then like they do now. A demon is a duster body with a dart front clip and a different tail light panel and different tail lights.

It's not really something you have to Think About. Awesome Tranny's. Mine in my Roadrunner,.. is tricked,.. and 3000rpm Stall. YEAH,.. it's not a Prius in traffic. But it can Jump A FENCE 😂

This was so awesome! I had a 1971 Plymouth Duster, old lady special, super clean, 37,000 Original miles. Miss that car so bad.

Father owned quite a few vehicles with the slant 6 in them. Virtually indestructible.
I never knew they made dodge demons with 6 cylinders.
