Kawasaki is focussing the basic version in 2022 - means less equipment but also less costs for the purchase. Fact is: The Versys 1000 is an absolutely travel-suited sport tourer and we have some interesting products for you.
You can protect the four-cylinder from damage with the robust engine guard. This is ensured by the high-quality aluminum alloy, and the construction is attached to frame mounting points.
The same applies to the crash bar, our developers have taken into account the line shape of the Versys and you can protect expensive fairing parts in the event of a fall.

Can the SW Motech Versys 1000 crash bars be mounted along with the factory Kawasaki frame sliders or must the frame sliders be removed?

Hey @tedraab5914, thanks a lot for your comment. We only test our products on motorcycles in factory condition. We also test our products only in combination with our products.
In your case, we can´t say for sure if the products fit in combination. Here it would have to be ordered once and tested. If it doesn't fit, the item can be returned to us within two weeks.

How does the handle bar turn with the tank bag ? Tried a few and all had the bar touching the bag

If this is the case, you simply have to move the tank bag further back. Unfortunately, this is not always possible with some models and the maximum steering angle is a little bit restricted, but this is not a tragedy. //HL
