That was great. I've had a hard time understanding how Alberto approaches things in other podcasts. Probably your line of questioning and interview style brought it out in a clear manner for my brain to comprehend. I may have said this before, but the best thing an interviewer can do is ask a question and let their guest speak and you're doing a great job with that with your guests. Its a surprisingly rare trait for people who host podcasts since they tend to just want to listen to themselves.
@@rackpull772 I appreciate it i definitely never wanna make any of these interviews about me. The only time i tend to chime in is when asked, usually at least. Thanks a lot
I used to follow dr. Mike and disregard pretty much everybody else. What I’ve learned, is Mike is a BusinessMan!! His RP Training methodologies are not science based like he claims. Furthermore, he is on PEDs and does not look good. Maybe he should be more open minded😊
The bulking advice is perfect. It’s what I do now. If guys would just maintain 18% bodyfat, you’d be surprised just how much you recomp at that bodyfat level. It just makes sense, then once you’ve recomped a bit, increase calories again. Do that for 2 years straight and you’d gain an insane amount of muscle naturally.
not sure if you have already done so/have plans to do it in the future but putting these on spotify or other podcast-mediums would be useful to not consume as much data when listening while out on a walk or something. Just a suggestion
@@miamidolphinsfan of course I remember how butthurt you got when I talked shit about Pittsburgh lol 😂 sorry man I am actually in the process of trying to get on Spotify I need a name first tho
First, thanks for another great podcast. Secondly, thanks again for the tips on your previous back training video and also some from the Geoffrey podcast. I have been training for just over a year, but today was the first time that I felt lat pulldown on my lats. It was like a slap in the face of what I have been doing all these previous months. Those single arm lat pulldown that I have been spamming for last two-three months have really developed the mind muscle connection enough that now after applying your tips on keeping the stack on pulldowns and pullup, that I can actually pull with my lats.
Agree completely about the point with the shoulder blades when pressing. The advice about retracting the shoulder blades and arching did nothing but F up my shoulders. I got to the point where I was arching and retracting my upper back as a prerequisite for almost all my movements without even realising (I get that’s my fault for the miss application😅) it became the norm. It wasn’t after watching your vid about getting the most out of your dealts and pecs that I came away from it and ever since then my shoulders feel like butter. I’m now able to feel the target muscle much more on so many of my exercises now such as all bench variations, over head presses, side laterals, upright rows even the lats feel better targeted with my pull downs. All my rows feel like they get a better stretch too I even started to get doms in areas which I haven’t had for years despite using less weight with a similar volume which would suggest to me that the target areas are being activated more effectively. It humbled me in the sense that I can’t lift as much but on the plus side I now perform a lot more movements pain free than what I used to and I feel good when outside of the gym also. Revolusionised my training and no doubt has expanded my longevity. I can’t thank you enough for the work your doing on here man it’s really helped reignite a fire in me for training with a different more matured perspective thanks man🙏
I'm not a natural bodybuilding guy, but this was genuinely interesting. I do wonder what the situation is with backstage politics in natural bodybuilding. I assume it's less than that of supernatural bodybuilding. 'cos generally natural bodybuilding is less of everything, until it gets more popular. Do natty bodybuilders do "G4P", or just "g_y for spare change"? Who knows? Would love to see a Jason Gallant ("train the muscles, not the joints") 1on1 with you. Channel looks to be steadily growing, loving the content... and the upper pecs, man!
Have you considered having Kassem Hanson from N1 on the podcast? I think it’d be fun to see you guys’ training principles and philosophies along with an in depth talk on biomechanics. Thanks for the content!
I would put a lot of money on Doug being natural. I see him basically every day I training his gym. He’s not big, but he trains extremely hard full range of motion. He has space between his tissue. It looks amazing. He’s a little taller than me. I am 5 foot eight and he competesin 190s
I think Boston Loyd came our with his personal protocol. He exposed dozens& dozens of dru>s Such a Martin young man. Missed RIP. Dave Palumbo always had him on & Boston got super popular.
great explanation of myo reps....very interesting approach to off season up protein intake i think many things about this... i belive berto use this to reduce insulin resistence especially in off season high calorie and carbs intake and em contest reduce protein and increase carbs probably increase dopamine serotonin and reduce cravings during prep.....
Thanks for this interview, most of the shit we see almost exclusively applies to enhanced lifting, not much talk about natty training and diet Biggest fad being limiting animal fat from your diet, which is basically your gateway to gains as a natty since it helps raise testosterone
Nah Bradley is off, dude’s 38 hanging out with 20 year olds and thinking he can beat up professional fighters, he’s definitely trying to chase that high

lol if you listen to this whole podcast you’ll find out why kassem won’t be on one. I dunno what his issue with me is
