bro you the ONLY one I've seen use this technique and explain it perfectly. It is so crucial the steps you took to cut and layer the top hair. Def will be showing every barber I go to in the future. These young barbers are taking too many shortcuts and just act bare lazy. they depend too much on clippers rather than precise scissor work. Clippers are precise but don't provide the same cut like a scissor. .most importantly barbers need to learn to listen to constructive criticism, it is the key to your success and there are always new ways of improving and learning a new craft. Learn new things but never forget the basics.
It must have been fun to work on someone with such a beautiful head of hair.

Some round brush and blow dry work to give volume in the front would have made this cut better. A lot of clients think they prefer the combover gel'd flat look untill they see what alil blow dry work can do.
