I feel that the coaches are partially to blame for this over zealous way in which Caitlin Clark has been treated. The coaches should have told their players who were involved to cool it. Players get injured enough by accident but intentional stuff can’t be allowed. So far the Commissioner of the league is useless and probably should be replaced. The physicality is over the top. Most of the WNBA players do not have good business minds as they are trying to ruin the player who unquestionably is responsible for the increase in tickets sales and viewership which has or will add money to the pockets of all the players. If Caitlin Clark was just a slightly above-average good basketball player, if she did not break record after record, if she did not play such an exciting, fast-paced style, then white privilege and pretty privilege would get her NOTHING. She would not have gotten that $28 million shoe deal from Nike. No cable network would be scheduling almost all her games on national TV. No arena would be able to charge premium prices for tickets. The league would not have ponied up the cash for all those charter flights. Athletic gear companies would not be selling out her branded tchotchkes in one day.

I feel that the coaches are partially to blame for this over zealous way in which Caitlin Clark has been treated. The coaches should have told their players who were involved to cool it. Players get injured enough by accident but intentional stuff can’t be allowed. So far the Commissioner of the league is useless and probably should be replaced. The physicality is over the top. Most of the WNBA players do not have good business minds as they are trying to ruin the player who unquestionably is responsible for the increase in tickets sales and viewership which has or will add money to the pockets of all the players. Why are they so blind and stupid that the want to bite the hand that is contributing most to achieving this goal. Instead of mishandling her they should be taking her out to dinner after the game although at this point I don’t think Caitlin needs their money. The critics of Caitlin seem to forget that for the most part the WNBA was not able to turn a profit. All those big mouth players who were in the league before Caitlin weren’t able to generate enough interest and enthusiasm for the game so they should just shut up. It is just pettiness and envy or jealousy that seems to be taking hold of all this stupid and uncalled for outburst. And finally stop with this bullshit stuff of always playing the race card. It has nothing to do with race. My god the league is over 60% black and some are still playing the race card. The best players are out there and this goes for the NBA and the NFL. MOST SOORTS ARE based on Merit and the games are better for. If you want a quality product the merit is the only way to go. DEI and affirmative action has been shown that it doesn’t work.
