Great review ! I purchased this vehicle 2 months ago and I have had no issues thus far. My previous vehicle was a 2003 Toyota Corolla so it was a major upgrade. Was a very affordable price and there is a lot of room in the car. 👍🏼

Looking at a 2020 LS trim right now, dealer added remote start and after discounts selling new at $20,272. I'm finding it hard to justify the extra to get to the LT trim, all the same engine, same ride, just a few more bells and whistles.

Had an LT with leather and now have a Premier. Both were 16s. Driving a 20 LS now, and especially with the CVT transmission, car drives even smoother than mine do. Remote start is great when it’s too hot or too cold, and I’m glad they’ve added those as options to LS models. Definitely a budget car with all the features you’d need. 😊

I’ve heard people complain about this vehicle because of the 1.5L 4C engine... but is it really that bad to make a fuss about for an average driver? My current and only Vehicle is a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS with a 2.4L 4C engine... but it’s been paid off and I own it. StateFarm has told me that if I add a 2020 Malibu, my total bill would only go up $57 because of a discount I would get for having more than 1 vehicle. So would it be worth getting?

I’ve owned a 16 Malibu 1.5 and I loved it. The CVT is even better than the 6-speed that was in mine. I have a premier 2.0T now and I love that one too. I’ve had no trouble out of my Malibus except some suspension bushings and that’s just due to how I drive it. 😎
