Question do i need gaskets or i can fit it without

HI Robby , Its a great video , However I have a question here . You changed the speakers in rear did it make a difference for you because the issue with My Hyundai Elantra 2020 is with existing stock rear speakers i have very low output in terms of sound no matter how high i make the volume or adjust balance or equalizer . Just wondering if you had similar issue & you plan to change the speakers ?

The stock speakers the car came with were horrible.. When I replaced the front speakers I can barely hear anything from the rear because of how bad the stock speakers were. After changing the rear I definitely noticed a huge difference. It no longer sounds like the rear speakers don’t work

I'm curious, why did you use rockford fosgates in front and kicker in rear?

When I reached out to Crutchfield to purchase the rear speakers, they told me if I’m not installing a new head unit, they recommend the kicker speakers over the Rockford.
I don’t have that car anymore.. But if I did, I probably would have installed a new head unit & subwoofer.
The kicker speakers were not as great or loud as The Rockford speakers, but they were a huge improvement compared to the stock speakers. Before installing the speakers in the back, it sounded like I only had two speakers in the front, it was embarrassing.

How come the rear speakers in the Hyundai Elantra are sound so crappy… i just put the same kicker speakers in mine and I’m not impressed at all with the rear sound?

I’m not sure… It must be something to do with the stereo in the car.. it must need an amp or something. If you bought them from Crutchfield you should be able to reach out to them and return them since you’re not satisfied. They told me the kicker ones were the best for my situation since I’m not installing an amp.
