    Looks like a good mod for a bit of sound. In my case removed the Air Box lid. Switched out just for the Pod Filter on the end. Has not upset or decreased the MPG. Breaths easier and on long highway journeys has slightly increased fuel efficiency

    I have the same car and I'm looking to purchase a cold air intake for mine and install it, but did your car throw any O2 codes from not removing the resonator?

    Hey i have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE and i was thinking of doing some mods myself. I looked up that cold air intakes mess up the car computer system and does something with how much fuel is going through the readings. WHAT IM ASKING, did you ever run into those problems? Also if anything im getting a k&n air filter for it though

    Thanks for this video! I have a 2019 with the 2.0 engine. Do you find your intake to be too loud or droning on the highway? I love how quiet our cars are on the road when stock and I want to keep that for the most part. Just looking for some growl when I floor it every now and then.

    • @dodgermspt
      @dodgermspt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      If you put it in sport mode it drones a little bit because it kicks it out of overdrive but other than that you don't know it is there until you get on it a bit

  • @johnwesley3885
    @johnwesley3885 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    A better intake would be one that incorporates the factory ducting that pulls air from outside the hot engine bay. That way your low end numbers would be increased with the bypass of the resonator box. Expect a drop in mpg though as with any increase of performance.

    Don't do this. It is absolutely useless. Unless you can make the computer recognize that you have a cold air intake/Short ram in this case, you are gonna get really bad MPG. FYI, these intakes are extremely overpriced.

      @dodgermspt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7
