After the electrical and plumbing, if I want drywall or if I want to apply v-groove boards for finished interior walls, what’s the recommended application process? On the exterior, I’d want to apply a WRB… and a drainage space and then siding. What’s recommended for doing so? (I’m in CZ3, so stucco isn’t common.)
The drywall is applied with general purpose joint compound. Just notch trowel it on the block and the drywall will have tremendous grip to that. The block has a lot of "tooth" ensuring a strong bond. No nails or screws needed with The Perfect Block. As far as the exterior we aren't huge fans of creating a space between the wall and siding. Doing that will only create a space for moisture to show up. I can't think of any reason stucco would be a problem in your climate zone so we like to lean that direction. But if you are going to fur out and put siding on the outside we would recommend you water proof the siding as well to prevent as much moisture as possible from getting past that. Hopefully I was able to answer your questions. Feel free to give us a call at 888-623-4223 with any other questions. We are happy to help.
Thank you : ) .....
