You are and have always been my favorite strongman. I’m 13 have been working out since I was like 7-8. My dad was a power lifter and I have been going to meets since I was 1. My dad met you in a Las Vegas meet, I wish I could have been there!
@@anthonyproffitt5341 yeah. But overtime you can do a lot. Just find deals and sells be patient. I’m 4 years into my home gym journey and I’m shocked by how much I have gotten. About $5,000 in and I have almost everything I could ever need.
@@jdj2022 Yep, building everything up over time is the way to go, I got 25 years of equipment, although have sold a few bits and pieces or swapped for stuff more suitable for what I need ;)
@@OldManGripStrength yeah. You can go cheap on stuff to begin with. Upgrade later if needed. Most stuff from Titan is good quality from my experience. Of course Rogue and some others are better. But for personal use starting out it’s still good stuff.
You probably hear this often. I have followed the strongman competitions for years. You inspire me far more than others simply because you started late in life and continue challenging yourself and teaching us. I am 55 years old. I'll never reach the level of experience you have because of health issues but you are my "standard". If you can do something than I believe it's possible for me to try also. I am very grateful that you put these videos together for us and perhaps someday I might have the opportunity to personally thank you. God's blessings to you and your family.
Your a humble man Nick, God has given you a blessed life bro. He helped you every way along the ways, make your time left on this earth focusing on your relationship with God
Nice set-up. I've been building mine since 91-92-ish. Pretty done with it about 10+ years ago. It's more of a power-bodybuilding gym. I started with a power rack, 315 pound Olympic set and a bench...then it grew from there.
Thank you for sharing all the details! For the smallish area, there are a huge number of strongman and bodybuilding exercises that can be attempted. NICE!
Nice tour! Thanks for posting this, Nick. As others have said, shows you can have a garage gym and be a beast. I can't say the "basics" though maybe the basics for an elite strongman. Thanks for sharing and for giving us some insights into your setup. Just another reason to respect your continued success. You inspire us older folks to keep driving and pushing ourselves.
I would love to see Nick and his family train together to see how they're all doing since the Strongest Man in history show. Especially if Nick can best his son in the tire flip.
Cool! Now, I want the guided tour of each implement. The NBest practices for training and competing with each of the cool toys you just shared. That should be good for at least ten more videos.👍👍👍
We need more videos from Nick Best! Will you show us how to use the one that you said would do a lot... Land mine? I would like to see what it is and how to use it!
Nick were do you get your floor mats from? that is the last piece to my small but effective home gym?! cant wait for the day i can work up to something like yours! Much love

Nick Best is the strongest man in history
I was waiting for "here's the water heater" 😁
“Very versatile, if it’s cold, I’ll make the water hot, if its too hot, I cool it down. So very versatile piece of equipment sponsored by Rogue.”
Nick Best is the King of Hercules
Great look in!
Dude this is inspiring. You don't need a huge gym to be an elite strongman, you just gotta be smart with your space. Thanks for this bro!
Don’t need a huge space, but that’s a lot of 🏦

I’d hate to bug this guy, but it’d be awesome to train with Nick at his home gym.

It blows me away that still to this day you can punk anyone at shield carry. King of the shield !
I see Hulk holding it down on the water heater. He's like a guardian of the weights!
That's the best REAL home gym I've seen . He's down to earth and very humble one over the best💪💪💪
Nick Best Strongman thanks for your sharing and all the information 👍👍👍

Great information for training. Appreciate.
Nick Best really appreciated your sharing all information 👍👍👍
I'm surprised by lack of power rack. But I guess the combo rack plugs boxes are more versatile.
Nick you are great. Thank you for all the videos and you are a inspiration. I hope to keep my strength as you have kept yours throughout my life.
Awesome! Opening that gate to all that equipment was like a strongman episode of MTV cribs
This is where the magic happens
An inspiration to keep throwing big weight up year after year.
One of the best garage gyms!
Nick Best Strongman thanks for your sharing
I may need a home gym as well, I did rock climbing before. Climbers always go to indoors gym for bouldering

Great video, loved the Hulk figurine on top of the water heater. So random, LOL.

i would be in heaven if i had all those toys to play with, i would seriously be there all day just pulling out random equipment and trying it out lol
Very useful information! That should be the way to setup your own gym during pandemic.
Nick Best thanks for your sharing all information 🙏🙏🙏
Nick Best Strongman thanks for you telling us about the equipment when ever you have🙏🙏🙏
The best thing that you have is the weather
never mind the equipment, talk to us about the Hulk!
I would love to see Nick and his family train together to see how they're all doing since the Strongest Man in history show. Especially if Nick can best his son in the tire flip.
More stuff than most gyms💪👍
Nice place Nick!
Nick, you are best strong men 💯🥇

Does that log hanging from the ceiling have any history? 🤔
I love that deadlift bar.....I have done some variation deadlifts using that, easier on my lower back.
Awesome Vid! Hope to get a leg/press hack squat and 45 hyper extension one day!
You have a great home gym 💪🏼👌 greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
I can’t imagine being 50 and being able to lift this weight. Very impressive.
Awesome setup! dream selection of equipment right there
I like alot of your stuff is multi purpose and you can do alot of different movements with one piece of equipment

Very good
Nice Gym stuff Nick, do you occasionally go to local gyms still?
Love those rogue farmers handles. Could you give a rough estimate of the dimensions?
I've always been a fan of the minimalist training gear. Sometimes you just need to get to it. No extra bs
Very inspiring. Will have to check on the house space efficiency.
WHAT BRAND IS THE HYPER EXTENSION MACHINE? THANKS!!!!
Thanks for sharing
Do you still have a day time job Nick? If not, what did you do before making it big in strongman?
GOOD MORNING NIK FROM GREECE!! WHY YOU DONT HAVE A LEG AND CURL EXTENSION MACHINE!!?? YOU THINK IS NOT NECESSARY FOR A STRONGMAN HOMEGYM!!?
Great
great
Nice!!!
You didn't comment on Hulk or Door Sword or Ceiling Tree or how you make your head shine.
Nick were do you get your floor mats from? that is the last piece to my small but effective home gym?! cant wait for the day i can work up to something like yours! Much love
They are horse mats
Nick I've been wondering, where do you keep the viking axe Hall gave you from the World's Strongest Man in History show?
Probably in his living room. Mounted on the wall
That one dislike is a sad existence 😂
So Nick, how much do you have invested in the complete gym package?
I love the yellow rack. What brand is it
What happened to the para body rack you had in older videos?
i think nick is older than that thomas inch dumbbell
I am Nick Best top fan
Awesome!
Hey Nick i got a question, how do you train for the atlas stones without a stone?
Reverse grip bent over rows, Dorian Yates style. And power cleans.
@@NickBestStrongman ok thanks Nick, I'll try that.
6:46 (Ferris Bueller’s Oh Yeahhhhhhh!)
hey nick what was the name of the quipment you can do landmine rows out of? im thinking of getting one
