Angelo's visual design is genuinely amazing, mixing the cupid motif with the mosquito aesthetics makes for a brawler that fits the Swamp of Love to a tee.
The team really outdid themselves here.

I love how Angelo’s idle pose is inspired by the sculpture Davi from MichelAngelo.

It is really cool! Michelangelo actually got the inspiration for that pose from earlier artists as well. The pose is called contrapposto, and the earliest example that I know of is Polykleitos' Doryphoros, which was made before 400 BC

0:57 There should be a gear that heals the brawler while they are charging their attack but only 1/4 of the original healing per tick. For example, if Hank healed 1000 health per tick, the gear would allow him to heal 250 health while he was charging his bubble attack.

Angelo might be too op if you know how to play him.
Absolutely agree, but Ash, Cordelius, and Sam all are also examples of brawlers that are super strong when the player knows how to play them. It takes skill to master them, so likewise it takes skill to know how to counter them, and Angelo seems similar. Drafting pets and aggro against him seems like the move, as well as baiting his super out.

@@LUCAS420BLZidk if Mandy is more versatile than Piper, both are good in Bounty/Wipeout and Knockout but Piper seems better on a lot of Gem Grab, Brawl Ball and Heist maps.
She’s definitely not OP though. A very good sniper, but nothing game breaking. Her gadgets are maybe a bit annoying but you can play around them

Edit: I know they're different but we all know Angelo is better than Hank
He's really not though. Only his main attack is similar to hank and even then they are very different. They gain damage OT and can't heal but Hank's grows in size and has more control while Angelo's has more range and damage. Their supers, gadgets, starpowers, and roles as characters are completely different.
Absolutely no similarities between the two.
It's like saying Bonnie is a better Bea because they both have one ammo 😐

Even though he doesn’t heal when charging, he’s attacking from range and his super heals him with the star power anyways. So, he probably won’t be unviable like Hank is despite this huge downside
The moment I saw Angelo I knew he was going to be one of my favourites along with gale, Byron and Gus.

I love brawlers like Angelo where they are very unique and also strong but not broken but let see when he comes out he seems to be a very fun brawler to play❤
So he's got Byron's attack with Hank's charge up mechanic, Brock's jump gadget, Mandy's pierce gadget, the bush gear for water, Spike's healing star power, and Pearl's super without the slow and with poison damage. What a unique and necessary kit for this game! I'm so glad they're adding so many forgettable brawlers in each update instead of taking their time and releasing unique brawlers with new mechanics like Leon was when they released him. As a reminder, he had a completely new super, attack pattern, and star power mechanic, that wasn't similar to that of any other brawlers at the time.
He's gonna get along with Emz

With the box test one thing that bugs me is that its not that realistic, in showdown the boxes are usually in groups of 1-3 so a brawlers with slow reload speed and high damage would actually do better than the results show as they could charge their ammo while going towards the next box

Hear me out, buzz hypercharge spam supers + Angelo’s super can team wipe a full team of franks if they do it right (angelo gets super back multiple times so they could kill them)
Technically tara + buzz would just be instakill
Buzz can't recharge supers by hitting enemies with it during the hypercharge I think, only when he hits a wall

Definitely caught me off guard that Angelo has a very fast movement speed.
His biggest weakness is definitely being ambushed by assassins and pets. The very fast movement speed paired with his first gadget definitely helps with that but it might be too broken for a sharp shooter like him

I think that his Super's poison should deal less damage from 1000 to 500 or even 350 then its going to be balanced but the players should have fun with it for a while before the nerfs come
