@ 2:03 The Pita Wheel restaurant! The website looks good. Have you eaten there? Is it good? I love how they saved the old gas station and repurposed it! They were also able to save the old Sinclar sign as well! Tip 'O the Cap to them! @13:45 It gets dark early in Gastonia apparently @ 16:02 That's how one takes advantage of those hills! Getting airborne off road humps! @ 18:57 How can one not love the Mid-Town Motor Inn sign? Classic! @20:14 What was the original use of the Martinizing Dry Cleaner building? It looks a '50's or '60's vintage. Anyone know? @28:16 I want one of those at the end of my street! Thanks for the great ride of Gastonia MM!
Lived there for two years and hated every minute of it. Although Gastonia has some beautiful parts, most of the town is just rundown and full of crime. That Walmart on E. Franklin has to be one of the trashiest locations in their entire network!
I find the good. It’s there. When you’re looking for negative, it’s there too. Gastonia’s downtown is in an upward trend, people are moving to the city in record numbers, and our region is a great place for restaurants, outdoor activities, great weather, and kind people. Every city has crime, sadly. Every city has run down areas. Look for the good. It’s a great little town without the big city headaches.

I agree, beautiful place but this is not the place for me either
Definitely agree. Gastonia used to be a nice town back in the day but has gone downhill over the years. Too bad.
