High key, Evil Like Me makes sense for it to be separated. It’s an actual villain singing it, and a dramatic one at that. And to be honest, this song is so good! I think it really captures Maleficent’s vibe ( not like hades’ s but I just have an intense grudge against that song ). Both of Mal’s parents songs are separated from the pop vibe, Maleficent being Broadway and Hades being classic rock and roll. Either way, I’m biased bc I adore this song and Kristen AND Broadway music.

Stronger gives me so much nostalgia cause i remember listening to it when it dropped right before the actual short premiered, and the way the lyrics really fit mal and uma's dynamic was great. The short story seemed odd at first (and honestly built up a storyline for d3 that never happened). But if you read Escape from The Isle of The Lost, the short is a whole battle scene in the book and it makes so much more sense.

It's a well-produced angsty anthem, and I can see why it is one of the highest views on TH-cam of all three movies' songs. 2) Chillin Like A Villain - I could literally see this playing and no one realizing it's a Disney song. 3) If Only (+ the two reprises!!)- gets me in my feels, great writing, I imagine that's Ben's heart singing that backing vocal 😂 4) Space Between - friendship, great writing, amazing harmonies 5) Ways to Be Wicked - the BEST vk song, I'm annoyed at how heavy the dubstep is in the others. The beginning sounds like the Alleyway from Austin and Ally and there's a woman ad-libbing in the background every 10 seconds, but it's a bop. 😂 And the cowbell in the dance break! Everyone loves cowbell. I love that Jay, Carlos, and Audrey share a verse. It's my favorite ending song. 9) It's Goin' Down - It's a good story song and the music production is great. The writing in the rap is a bit too contrived bordering cheesy, but the pirate chorus breakdown goes hard. And China's high note!!! 10) You and Me/Good to be Bad - I was debating what to put here. I originally didn't like You and Me because it was too slow for a finale song. But it's chill listening to it on it's own, and the song grows on you. A very nice message as well. Good to Be Bad is the opposite, the lyrics are a bit meh and not the biggest fan of the "talk singing" verses... but the chorus is a bop! And everyone loves a "When I say __ ; you say ___ breakdown."
The only reason queen of mean is the best is because it's just a very popular song but I agree with your ranking it is the best but it only is good because it's a popular song
They did include kiss the girl in descendants 2. It’s the scene where Uma and Ben are dancing at cotillion and it’s playing in the background. It’s not playing very loudly though so it’s easy to miss.
My top songs are If Only, Queen of Mean, Did I Mention, My Once Upon A Time, Rotten to the Core and Space Between in no particular order. Do What You Gotta Do and Ways to Be Wicked are awesome too.

I feel the same about the Royal Wedding special, it was disappointing. But they never outright stated that Carlos was dead. Mal said that she missed Carlos, Evie said that she understood, Jay gave Mal the bracelet with the symbol charms and that they always be together, that's it. So they kept it vague as to why he wasn't there. The two big theories are that he is dead (which would be morbid for a kid's franchise) or that he was elsewhere for some reason, probably with Jane as she wasn't there either.
I firmly believe Ben was in love with Mal even before she gave him the spell cookie. We all saw that first look when they met. Audrey saw it and I believe she started fucking around with Chad after that moment

It's mostly been because there's been a shift to streaming services and the closers of Disney channels mainly started around that time and everything. "Do What You Gotta Do" is my favorite song from the whole Descendants franchise and like mentioned in the video, it's a great karaoke bop! As for 'Descendants: The Royal Wedding,' I kind of wish it never existed because it didn't have enough Ben and Mal moments and I feel like the third movie pretty much closed the franchise. Also, we didn't need to have Carlos die in the franchise. That was a bit sad.

2:59 I don't understand why they did Dig A Little Deeper for that movie. For Descendants 1 they had Be Our Guest which made sense with Ben being the son of Belle and Beast. And in 2 they did Kiss The Girl which makes sense with Uma being the daughter of Ursula. But using Dig a Little Deeper for 3 feels like such a long shot since we really don't get to see Celia playing as major of a role as other villains. I wish they would have done Won't Say I'm In Love or Go The Distance from Hercules because of Hades being in 3. On another note, even though I was thoroughly disgusted in Rise of Red (AKA Descendants 4), I did appreciate the usage of This is Love in the movie. I just wish it was longer. Edit: looked up some of the songs that I hadn't heard (like the Christmas songs and some of the remixes) and I gotta be honest, I wish I didn't
Descendants 3 wasn't even the strongest installment to begin with & whether or not Carlos will be there it won't be the same either way. They really should've let this series rest after the third film, or have a spinoff that focuses on different characters. (Unless that's already what they're doing of course).

So I absolutely love majority of 'It's going down' and I wish I could love the song in its entirety, but the bridge with Ben's autotuned singing and cringey lyrics just completely spoils the whole song for me, so I just cannot listen to the song because of it. It would be so hard for me to make a list like this because we all love so many for different reasons but Set it Off is one of the best in my humble opinion. ! The choreo is fun, the song was catchy, and I love the scene... the fireworks, the castle, everyone coming together - it was perfect! While Descendants 3 was my favorite movie overall, the first movie had my favorite finale.
Honestly, I liked the wedding special but the animation needed more work. Like I think I heard they rushed it for whatever reason, but it definitely could’ve waited a bit longer. I did really like the design of Hades though.

One thing I always found kind of strange is that I feel like High School Musical and Descendants are the two biggest Disney Channel Original movie franchises, yet High School Musical is filled with Troy and Gabriella duets, whereas we don't even get one Ben and Mal duet in Descendants. And I feel like they are fairly similar in story and concept as well, so I just feel like, why didn't they follow the same theme with the music?

They did include kiss the girl in descendants 2. It’s the scene where Uma and Ben are dancing at cotillion and it’s playing in the background. It’s not playing very loudly though so it’s easy to miss.

I feel the same about the Royal Wedding special, it was disappointing. But they never outright stated that Carlos was dead. Mal said that she missed Carlos, Evie said that she understood, Jay gave Mal the bracelet with the symbol charms and that they always be together, that's it. So they kept it vague as to why he wasn't there. The two big theories are that he is dead (which would be morbid for a kid's franchise) or that he was elsewhere for some reason, probably with Jane as she wasn't there either.
I was sad when Carlos wasn't in the Royal wedding special I feel like the group are not the core 4 without him.
I firmly believe Ben was in love with Mal even before she gave him the spell cookie. We all saw that first look when they met. Audrey saw it and I believe she started fucking around with Chad after that moment

It's mostly been because there's been a shift to streaming services and the closers of Disney channels mainly started around that time and everything. How do you feel about one day there might not be any Disney affiliated channels anywhere and it'll all be on Disney+? Also when this happens and they release new Disney movies, what will they be called since they wouldn't fit under the category of DCOMs since they weren't released on Disney Channel?

"Do What You Gotta Do" is my favorite song from the whole Descendants franchise and like mentioned in the video, it's a great karaoke bop! As for 'Descendants: The Royal Wedding,' I kind of wish it never existed because it didn't have enough Ben and Mal moments and I feel like the third movie pretty much closed the franchise. Also, we didn't need to have Carlos die in the franchise. That was a bit sad.

2:59 I don't understand why they did Dig A Little Deeper for that movie. For Descendants 1 they had Be Our Guest which made sense with Ben being the son of Belle and Beast. And in 2 they did Kiss The Girl which makes sense with Uma being the daughter of Ursula. But using Dig a Little Deeper for 3 feels like such a long shot since we really don't get to see Celia playing as major of a role as other villains. I wish they would have done Won't Say I'm In Love or Go The Distance from Hercules because of Hades being in 3.
On another note, even though I was thoroughly disgusted in Rise of Red (AKA Descendants 4), I did appreciate the usage of This is Love in the movie. I just wish it was longer.

Descendants 3 wasn't even the strongest installment to begin with & whether or not Carlos will be there it won't be the same either way. They really should've let this series rest after the third film, or have a spinoff that focuses on different characters. (Unless that's already what they're doing of course).

It would be so hard for me to make a list like this because we all love so many for different reasons but Set it Off is one of the best in my humble opinion. ! The choreo is fun, the song was catchy, and I love the scene... the fireworks, the castle, everyone coming together - it was perfect! While Descendants 3 was my favorite movie overall, the first movie had my favorite finale.
Honestly, I liked the wedding special but the animation needed more work. Like I think I heard they rushed it for whatever reason, but it definitely could’ve waited a bit longer. I did really like the design of Hades though.

One thing I always found kind of strange is that I feel like High School Musical and Descendants are the two biggest Disney Channel Original movie franchises, yet High School Musical is filled with Troy and Gabriella duets, whereas we don't even get one Ben and Mal duet in Descendants. And I feel like they are fairly similar in story and concept as well, so I just feel like, why didn't they follow the same theme with the music?
