HA! I'm doing the same trust me. I have tournament footage from Silent Line that I'm thinking of uploading. Not sure about the quality since it was recorded on vhs and ripped with 2005 tech.
I like Armored Core V a ton I liked how instead of the majority of your success being based on the parts you had like in most other armored core games it was MORE about the skill and HOW you used the battle field rather than just flying around and boosting sometimes
I like all of these but the grenade launcher one. The assembly animation breaks my suspension of disbelief, with how the barrel of the cannon keeps sliding in and out while rotating on two separate axis like that. You can tell they were going for a shoulder mounted cannon with it. Same goes for the laser cannon. Knocking the right arm out of commission when the whole weapon is on the left like that seems overly counter intuitive. Meanwhile missile launchers: "SOMEONE ORDER SOME PIZZAS??"
I don't know what that weapon is that hits around the 5:00 mark but it looks heavy yet doesn't engage the "ready" position for a medium biped. That could be very interesting depending on how the weight distribution works in this game.
My only concern would these weapons be worth using. They look cool and all but I care about quality than just looking good while being a bullet magnet.
In a Q&A the devs said one big focus was part re balancing so some popular parts may not be so OP and "useless" parts may be more viable. As well as not having parts that are just "better" like the Glance FCS out classing every other FCS in almost every catagory. One other thing aside form new weapon categories, were called retrofitted parts for frame defenses. Now we could see High TE light builds, or Heavy High KE builds.
I only remember one AC game where you have blade arms and those were inbuilt laser blades. The others were devices mounted on your ac. This doesnt remind me of those days, it just makes me miss them lol
Does anybody know what the first song is called? Edit: Found it after less than 6 minutes of looking, it's "Initiating" from Armored Core 3: Silent Line. You know you've been listening to AC music way too much when you can identify what game a song is from from just the way it SOUNDS.
the sniper cannon arm: you cannot lock-on. the laser cannon arm: single trigger(low damage per second). 40 bullets ammo shows its offensive power is lower than karasawa and the other normal laser cannons. use the kinetic blades!
whoa whoa whoa your forgetting about 3 (yeah josh your right), silent line, and last raven and such (they were laser blade arms can't remember what they're called). though it would be nice if they brought back the mounted blades but allow you to still carry a weapon like a hand gun or some other smaller length gun. but yeah i know what you mean with missing the originals (my personal favorite was 2: another age) i always loved how the blades came from the wrist on Nineball. To the first ravens!!
I'm guessing they're taking the For Answer sequel idea from AC 4 and bringing into AC V. I assume it's already out for Japan, and probably gonna come here later this year. But the new parts look sick
well from watching the vids I can say one thing. much better music this time. like this tune in the vid is got a nice funk to it. love how it builds up.
I have not played the newer games. The last Armored Core game I played was Armored Core 4 on 360. I stopped playing them because I just hated how much they changed the look and feel of the game. But, I really loved the Artificial Intelligence feature they put into Silent Line on PS2. I was an expert at the Artificial Intelligence and was able to tweak it just right to kick ass every time.
this game isn't out yet. but if you are talking about the jpn version of ACV, make a japanese psn account to find players cause the game tries to match you with people from your region and you region = psn account region.
Honestly, nothing beats armored core 2 another age. Solid, simple controls, great music, sweet sound effects, devastating weaponry, and a truly badass opening. Best of the series, but AC3 is a close second.
I just picked up armored core verdict day and every time I play a match all the AC's and enemy mechs look pink and oily colored, which is I assume some texture glitch I have no idea how to fix and the problem happens in nearly every story mode mission and normal game, am I the only one with this problem does any one know how to fix?
I heard them blatantly say they'd be worldwide for multiplayer for this installment, or more simply put, region-unlocked. I hope they didn't back out on it.
The earlier games promoted fast paced and mobile combat far more than ACV does! It's not like cover is a brand new concept to AC games. If anything due to different types of weapons being weak or strong against particular ACs this game is even more dependent on your weapon choices.
That's actually a valid statement, Silent Line , 3, 9 Braker, Nexus and Last Raven were gems in the Playstation 2 mech era, 4 was a bit ...eh you know why, For Answers was the savor of the 360 era, V was a bit more fast pace but the story was a eh, how ever the real show was the online multiplayer and side missions, how ever however, it focused a little to much on realistics and the ACs started looking a bit on the stubby and cluncky side and the new control system was a bit odd
I couldn't get into playing ACV much, just building random shit really, but the designs did grow on me a bit, the addition of these new parts should keep my attention going again. The real problem I had was the change in controls, and the over-focus on online play.
LOL I meant Dramarc, but either way. I loved the fast-paced mecha combat the AC4/4A had; it was original, fun and intense, especially Next/AC battles! I'd been playing those games so much for so long I forgot what AC games are 'normally' So... when I first played ACV... I was DISAPPOINT. I got back into it recently and realized that it's a great game it was just so different... I still prefer the fast-paced combat so I worked to make a pretty similar design to AC4s' mainly White Glint.
The secondary weapons are the arms e.i. Weapon arms. Look ACV and ACVD are their own lore as with most AC series. If anything ACV is more like the older titles (you have to knee down to cannon weapons in nontank legs).
No, ACLR was really hard if you didnt import the data. Starting from 0 was really abusive. However, if you had the same mech you used before then it was veeery easy :)
Amen. I mean for the Ps2 era, Armored Core 3 was the best in terms of Armored Core games on that console. ACLR would have been a fine choice, but the difficulty level was abusive. XD.
Realizing the AC has four arms
1st tune -> Initiating (Armored Core 3 Silent Line)
2nd tune -> High Sign (Armored Core 3 Silent Line)
3rd tune -> On Satelloid (Armored Core 3)
0:00 Blade (KE)
2:38 AS Missile
4:49 Sniper Cannon
7:19 Laser Cannon
I would buy this game for those animations alone. So damn nice.
The weapons transformation are truly INSANE in this game lol.
From Soft knows how to design some badass mechs!
Yes. I am scouring TH-cam for Ac content after the latest announcement.
HA! I'm doing the same trust me. I have tournament footage from Silent Line that I'm thinking of uploading. Not sure about the quality since it was recorded on vhs and ripped with 2005 tech.
@@sbrobot that would be cool to see. Classic ^_^
"WWHAHAAAAAAAAAAT!!"
I literally said that aloud when it transformed, this is BEAUTIFUL!!
So these guys are now four armed monsters that switch out weapons with ease this seems abit more apprioate for changing weaponry on the go
First song is Initiating, from the Silent Line soundtrack. The second is High Sign, also from Silent Line.
I like Armored Core V a ton I liked how instead of the majority of your success being based on the parts you had like in most other armored core games it was MORE about the skill and HOW you used the battle field rather than just flying around and boosting sometimes

Wow, these are some really sick upgrades.
dem blade arms i want them so bad
aahhhh brings back memories of the good old armored cores
I actually favor the smaller size in V the ACs enemies and environments feel more believable
I don't know what that weapon is that hits around the 5:00 mark but it looks heavy yet doesn't engage the "ready" position for a medium biped. That could be very interesting depending on how the weight distribution works in this game.
to all his own, I personally liked the gameplay of V and pretty much every Armored Core :P
My only concern would these weapons be worth using. They look cool and all but I care about quality than just looking good while being a bullet magnet.

So many now... To bad no one plays anymore 😔
oh gawd that second song!!!! EPICNESS!!
does it really start the demo by breaking out a set of axes...... i think im in love
Its from Armored Core 3 Silent Line, "Initiating"
I only remember one AC game where you have blade arms and those were inbuilt laser blades. The others were devices mounted on your ac. This doesnt remind me of those days, it just makes me miss them lol
Weapons arms and ultimate weapons on the same ac that honestly would be terrifying to meet on a battle field
My only question is WHEN THE F*CK DID ARMORED CORE 5 TURN INTO TRANSFORMERS BROTHER?!?!?!?!
glad to be seeing the weapon arms again :)
There's a dual heat cannon one as well '-'
Does anybody know what the first song is called?
Edit: Found it after less than 6 minutes of looking, it's "Initiating" from Armored Core 3: Silent Line.
You know you've been listening to AC music way too much when you can identify what game a song is from from just the way it SOUNDS.
man i hope if they ever make an expansion for fires of rubicon that they make ultra heavy weaponry that needs such transformations
I kinda hate how the acs in ac 5 seems bulkier but after seeing this. ..this actually looks prrtty cool
Silent Line is everything AC3 was and more. Easily my favourite AC game.
THE ANIMATIONS ARE FUCKING GORGEOUS.
oh and seeing as thise one goes four arms. I wonder if there is a limitbreake system where you can use all four at once for a short bit :-)
the sniper cannon arm: you cannot lock-on.
the laser cannon arm: single trigger(low damage per second). 40 bullets ammo shows its offensive power is lower than karasawa and the other normal laser cannons.
use the kinetic blades!

Oh, Weapon ARMS, derp. That's certainly an interesting take on them, considering how weapon switching works now.
well from watching the vids I can say one thing. much better music this time. like this tune in the vid is got a nice funk to it. love how it builds up.
And new Overed Weapon (Ultimate Weapon) is Huge Laser Blade
this is the future military weapon
For Answers is a better buy, muti ending, 2 arenas, a somewhat understandable story. and memorable characters like White Glint and ORCA
I know, I was too... lets see what the future has in store for us
3rd weapon looks like a Railgun and the last one is either a grenade launcher or a Kojima(?) weapon.
GoodwillWright
The last one is like a pulse canon than a kojima cannon or it cloud be plasma
It's the expansion for ACV, so yes it'll be mostly the same.
My jaw dropped when them axes came out.
just dedicate ur humanity for fromsoftware, and the producer Nabeshima.
thats our duty.

KE Blade need to be a thing in future AC games, myb adds mace/katana as well
AC3 music goes hard
i think it was armored core 3, i could be wrong but ya i miss them to.
It's High Sign from Silent Line dude... I've replayed that game at least ten times over, and I know for 100% that the second song is High Sign
Anyone know the name for the first song that played in the video?
i miss those arm blades :'(
Actually I have all three on 360; AC4, AC4A, and ACV.
i agree. I wish they did remake armored core 3
I just picked up armored core verdict day and every time I play a match all the AC's and enemy mechs look pink and oily colored, which is I assume some texture glitch I have no idea how to fix and the problem happens in nearly every story mode mission and normal game, am I the only one with this problem does any one know how to fix?
Missileboats in the hiz-ouse!
Glad you found what was so good about it :)
like I said in another video. Hope these weapons are useful than being eye candy.
5:14 Metal Gear!!!
I heard them blatantly say they'd be worldwide for multiplayer for this installment, or more simply put, region-unlocked. I hope they didn't back out on it.
I can't wait to see these in action
actually, after i made that comment, i replayed V and found i liked it much better than last time XD.
One of does songs r from AC3 and AC4
no i dont believe so, this was taken from a live stream fromsoftware had.
that zaku photo-cube
GONNA MAKE SOME PACIFIC RIM ROBOTS!!!!
Okay, that's sick.

i heard it has 2 other motions!
Ppl Frm The US Thts Plays ACV is Waiting For Verdict Day . Not Much ppl play it .
Whats the music? Is it ACVD?
LOL I meant Dramarc, but either way.

I liked them better as well do you still have them and if so were they on the 360?
the last one is mk82 nuke right?^^
good pick on the soundtrack :)

is the demo available anywhere yet?
Nahh. Too michael-bay-ish. I hate how small they made the ACs look on screen. It's like transformers.
V got better after patches. I wish you could toggle regulations though...
dammnn!! i cant wait for its release now!!
I am new to the series and this game is the one I can buy legally. Would anyone recommend starting from this game?
V was ok they needed a match making system badly though
It doesn't even feel or look like Armored Core anymore.
I love em all. Just gimme a mechanism.
lol fall into temptation.. xD Go for it dude! Get the Verdict day. :)
Did you like AC4 and 4A?
HOLY SHIT THIS IS SOOOO COOOOOLLLLLLL!!!!
Nuklear robots, so cool stuff, i like Japan game-design
You could fly in all of the games prior to FA :,
The design is absolutely mind blowing, love it! Will they make a remastered version on PS4?
Jiayao Ke probably not, but they are makin new armored core
Hello from the future. We're still waiting for new Armored Core
Hello from the future. Armored core is dying
Hello from the future, all hope is lost
@@DragonSlayer-zz4lx good news
Yeah... I want this games SO bad!! Lol.
