  • This is Part 1 of the suspension reconfiguration of my 1951 Ford F1 front suspension. Removal of the stock leaf springs in the front and Installation of a Mustang2 Rack and Pinion IFS with coil-overs. The main reason to make the changes was to lower the pickup and better road handling.

    Save the f1 complete brakes, backing plates, hubs, drums, upper shock mount, steering column and box. Hot rodders love that stuff, and it’s getting hard to find.
