Nice use of the knees.👍
The first time I tried that I didn't think it would work..... but it does😁. Thanks for watching !
Nice!
Fan of your work man keep it up!!
Subscribed. Thank you for the great video. Can you make a video how you set ride height when you don't have the wheels/tires yet and or full weight of the vehicle on the frame? I always struggle with this. Also how you know which size wheels fit a project? This gives me a lot of trouble.
Do you use tig for general sheet metal replacement and rust repair on your restorations? rare to see that.
If the weld is "exposed" like the frame I'll use tig and tig welding has better penetration, nice for suspension parts. Using a mig welder on these parts is fine also.... just preference
Thanks for a detailed work video on this '49 truck. I have a '59 Vette and looking to upgrade my Kingpin suspension. However I have limited knowledge on welding and so forth. Have you done a bolt on IFS for C1 Vette?
I have not for a vet but I am getting ready to put a C4 Corvette suspension under a 1955 GMC truck, I'm sure there's a kit somebody makes for that particular swap into your Corvette hey thanks for watching
Well done, and you run a nice clean shop! I enjoy your video sharing, we need to figure out how to drive more viewers to your channel.
Question on the 'C' notch mod to the frame for the steering rack. I'm assuming the company provided the C piece(?) Did you find it to have excess or unnecessary clearance once it was assembled? Just curious about your take on it. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the encouragement! that is an older video, working really hard to improve, I'm up to 41 videos now.
The question, yes the C - notch inserts were supplied, no they really don't need that amount of clearance as the rack is fixed.
Thanks again!
What headers are those?!
Probably from Summit Racing, thanks for watching !
