LOVE LOVE LOVE this video! I rarely comment on “how to”videos. But yours was the best how to video I think I’ve seen in a long long time. Why? Because it was straight to the point, didn’t drag things out, or have a whole lot of extraneous jabber, and you’re very funny like I am. I would’ve done that video very similarly. And also we have a very old Hay elevator that looks just like yours, except worse, that we got from a farmer who was much older than the elevator. And it too lay in the weeds for longer than yours when we realized it needed a new motor. Your very first comment was hysterical, because I could so relate, and you’ve got a great sense of humor! Well done!!! Now I’m off to restore ours!🎉
Wow that looks like hard work. It would be cool to see the upstairs of the barn, (maybe you have showed this in another video...I'm jumping around watching) I'm assuming you are going to that much work to be able to feed down through chutes to the stalls? On top of using the loft for the storage it provides.
what size chain did you use for the sprockets? I just acquired the same hay elevator, I have a new motor and pulley coming but need to work out the chain size

We just use it for storage.
Who is the manufacturer of the elevator?

Hi Ryan. It had a chain on it. I'll measure it today and reply.
