I just watched my dad take a passive zon to hell running cleglaws full upped set,alot better than one might imagine. Not good lol,but with enough crushing blow,anything is possible. Id love to see you run it,it wouldnt be complete ssf to gift yourself the cleglaw set,gface and gtoes/gores but i think it would be really fun for people to watch. Still waiting on 2h mace bonk sorc lol.

I feel like you should be favouring attack speed over damage with this build. Strength rune word in a half decent base could by the way to go? Treachery for the IAS might be doable?
Yeah it would help but ias is not the easiest thing to get. I would love treachery but that is definitely a hell thing. Strength could be good I'm surprised I didn't think of it actually
I see "Spearazon attempt 3" "YAAAAAYY!" I see the an 8 minute video "SH@$" That's probably one of the worst builds to do SSF, or even stick to just physical. I comment you for just even trying man.
To be fair I go through stuff fast when I want to. It's a rough one for sure. But all of them have died in split seconds and not so much because of the build not functioning I just need to take my time more.
@@thenuclearrabbit I don't think that "going fast" is your problem. D2 as a game really starts at Hell, so going through Normal and Nightmare as fast as you can is natural. The thing that gets you killed is the fact that you have to invest so much in dex to even be able to hold a spear, damaging your survivability. Like, the only way that I think that you may be able to pull that off is to have NM Mephisto drop you a Hone Sundan, equip it with two Hel runes, and maybe, just maybe then you can put enough points to Vit so that you won't get one shotted. On the same note, a typical "Spearazon" (not really, it's just a charged strike zon, with Impale as a sub for Lightning Immunes if you get a good spear) doesn't care for stats, since you only need IAS.
I meant in the editing :) The stats are rough, the big problem is just that you have nothing to work with. Your res are low, your damage is low, your vit is low, attacks are slow. There is just... nothing good going on at all You can also farm a fal rune and a mancatcher. Which is what I would go for in a next attempt cause it seems more consistent
@@thenuclearrabbit Fal rune is a tall order. You already lost one Spearazon on hell Countess runs. It's a much safer bet IMO if you just farm NM Mephisto. Other than that, you could farm for a base (Mancatcher) on Terrorised NM / act 5 NM, and roll it for 3 sockets and make a Hustle.
So they fixed the fend bug that's been in the game for 20 years but it's still trash lol. Too bad they couldn't just make insight available for spears.
That is harder than just going to mephisto nm. It would require me to farm 9 io runes. I also won't find a good base in nightmare. Obedience is the weapon I would go for in hell
If I hadn't gotten stuck I feel confident I would have atleast made it to meph nm which is always a big upgrade moment that would probably get me over to hell
Man I wish you were playing mouse keyboard, even though the Devs did an amazing job porting to console and giving controller support to pc in addition. Controller being an extremely good implementation is lacking compared to the control of the mouse
No the spacing and walking is worse in resurrected than it is in lod because they just put a game on a game. I don't think it has to do with the controller at all

You need to just slap out 10 Zon runs in a row until you get it done. You'll retain more of the PTSD but also knowledge checks.
That is the fastest way to get me to never want to play diablo 2 ever again. I do want to go again sometime soon though :)

I really struggled with the durability losing when I played this build. I was carrying Ort runes to repair it all the time

Javelin and shield is better than a spear, even when not using other javelin skills.

I believe they got buffed. The fire one is usually pretty good if you slap a spirit and a stealth on him. I haven't tried the others

impale is great for bosses. Would charge strike be better for clearing mobs? the scaling with synergy would seem like a better choice.
