Somehow, I feel sorry for Lilith... She may be a demon and the daughter of Hatred, and her nature led to the suffering of those who stood in her way, but in the end her intentions weren't true to her nature as a demon.
She was still sadistic, she also didn't do it to only those who stood in her way. Last I checked old girl's mother in chapter 1 was not standing in her way, in fact she wanted to help and Lilith shat on that
Playing as one of the Nephalem that followed Uldyssian ul-Diomed, Saranthia and Mendeln into war against both the Triune and the Cathedral of Light would have been awesome, ending with the climax of the three-way battle between Mankind, Hell and Heaven. Even Tyrael could have been a boss in a game centered around the Sin War.
I wanted them to go back to the Low Profile of the first Diablo that at the time I thought was set in our world. And then it became a World of Warcraft Warhammer 40K low-budget lore.
so let me get this right, Lilith tried everything she could to enter the chamber to take Mephisto power, and despite all that, the MC and Neyrelle just teleport right into there, sealed him into the stone, and solo Lilith like a champ, and kill her off. So Inarius couldnt do shit, Lilith couldnt achieve any shit....all that hype about Father and Mother are down to the toilet
Lilith was weakened after her fight with inarius, and mephitso was the one enabling the teleportaion. To my knowledge only prime evils can open hell gates(outside of humans)
you all have a point. @nagolee is just pointing out is why are are the characters OP? If we are going to base this on the Diablo novels/books, there are such things as awaked humans. These individuals are more powerful than either the demons or angels. Now I'm just wondering when are the awakened going to be hunted by both the angels and demons.
Same feeling, and the problem is due to difficulty limitations, she is locked at lvl 50. I was already lvl 50+ with decent gear and legendaries. The fight was tasteless, fast and easy, even with a human storm drui (without any buffs from werewolf or werebear).
Since the comment section in this video is EXTREMELY negative towards Diablo IV and its story, I personally can say that I did enjoy the story overall, but I completely agree on that the ending was underwhelming af. Lilith was such a good character that I was genuinely surprised that we fought her and she just... died. I even expected her to be the actually good guy and Inarius to be the villain (he certainly was an idiot) While the ending with Neyrelle who casually carries a prime evil now with her is definitely a premise for a future expansion or even the next entry, I was really hoping that Lilith would remain a foe that plays a greater part in the story than just the bad guy that we fight at the end. Bonus : The cutscene with Inarius, the soldiers and Lilith was probably the best one I have ever seen from Blizzard, everything about this cinematic looked Beautiful.
For me after Diablo became this colossal universe I gave zero minimums for history, I would like something in the footprint of 1 that we have uncertainty about things we are in the dark and from the dark come the demons that will threaten us, after it turned heaven and hell against each other only an RPG and weak version of our world, I play Diablo for the side stories and the gameplay and visuals and responses of that gameplay, Diablo 4 is a Dungeon Crawler RPG very addictive to play Lore I don't care close to annihilating hordes of enemies.
At this point I really don't care much for the gameplay, all I care about is the story. The story of the Diablo franchise is huge and has so much potential yet here we are, right back at the beginning with wanderer 2.0 - neyrelle. I get that they were going for the whole eternal conflict schtick and all but it just feels so anti-climatic. And I thought that Inarius was imprisoned somewhere and not on Sanctuary after the High Heaven and the Burning Hell discovered Sanctuary. There is so much that they could have explored: the theme of blind faith in an uncaring deity, the choice between free will and destiny, parental love and ambition, the sin of previous generation carrying on to the next, the weak vs the strong mentality and whether it can be changed. Lilith imo is the best character in the part of the story (from the design, her backstory, her motivation)
Up to the very end, it's like she can't understand why we wouldn't want to help her. Honestly I think the story was changed after the cutscene was made.
Extra stuff always when done right helps openings and endings to story and boss fights would have been better if the hero also got to say something instead of the silent treatment.
Lame. Heavens and hell trying to destroy Sanctuary with the help of fanatical church and evil cults respectively and Lilith/Inarius helping defeat both would've been a cool story and kind of what they were going for in lore, even in D4 Lilith was all about making humans stronger for the upcoming battle, but instead they made Inarius an emo loser and killed off Lilith too soon. Leave it to blizzard to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Not a single compelling story since WC3.
@@loganvest367 that's not the point. I'm saying that people beating the game day one have most likely have veteran experience. Lilith is a demon she cannot die. She will respawn in hell given enough time. Inarius essense will return to silve pinnacle, but unlikely he will retain personality.
@@stefanodenton1900 You both must be new tbh cuz its unclear if angels return, their essence does but they themselves do not (only Tyrael did - once and thats it), unlike demons who always return in their bodies. Love the game but I felt like the Lilith fight was underwhelming. So much leading up to her and she wasn't really that difficult to defeat and I think there were bosses more difficult to kill than her in the main quest. Still, an awesome ending
her idea of "chosing freedom" means butchering, corrupting and eating each other lawl. everytime a woman is the villain, the fanboys will bend over backwards to somehow find way to make them seem "good" even when theyare obviously evil as shit
I love Lilith even though I've never played this game. I wish the gameplay style was different. She stopped being intimidating as gameplay began. Although I think this player makes the fight look easy too.
I lost my will to live half way into that boss on my Rogue, god I hate kiting so much. Finished it with a friend and then parked the Rogue never to touch Campaign again.
It should've been that they were able to imprison both Mephisto and Lilith in one soulstone. Since that didn't happen, Lilith is not vanquished. She will return folks.
Inarius' essence will be reborn but not his memory. And Lilith won't respawn coz she is not one of the 7 great demons. She is a child of one of the 7. Lower demons just spawn indefinitely from the fiery fire of hell (body), they don't respawn like the 7.
What’s the glowing marks on her arm and neck when she used the soulstone on Lilith father into it and will the soul stone try to corrupt or possessed her or no and what does the glowing marks will do to her
What if Jaraxxus or Archimonde was the "Hidden Secret Boss"? It would be like putting Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2? If Kerrigan from Star Craft was dubbed the "Fake Lilith"? Maybe Yrel conquering the Planet Sanctuary as she became "God-Emperess of Draenei kind" with her Imperium?
I miss the days where you'll have to contemplate the meaning of the whole game after you finished it. Now, villains have to explain their motivations and purpose to the viewers for the sake of convenience. I'm sad D4 is lacking creativity and wholesomeness.

Lilith throughout the story: doesn't fight, uses charm and manipulates ppl into giving her what she wants. Lilith here: generic whack-a-mole boss with some line skillshots, and cone AoE. Ok then. Smh

Not only that. This is like whole story with wanderer in D2 and Leah in D3 once again. She is transforming into Mefisto true form and we kill him in dlc
It would be cool to see Mephisto turn good in the end. He already helps you defeat Lilith and now that he’s technically possessing Neyrelle maybe somehow he learns to coexist with humans… thus in the end avoiding the eternal conflict altogether within his own daughter’s creation. What an ending that would be.
Where have all the good writers gone? Did they all drop dead around 2010? Almost all the major studio games have terrible plots these days. The only people with passion in the corporate gaming industry seem to be the artwork folks.
Lilith kills an actual angel meanwhile, some schmuck grinds lesser demons for 30 hours, gets a sick drop and then can kill her... I'll never understand Diablo lore.
It's been hinted at 2 and explored deeper in 3. Human race is stronger than both angels and demons because they are a byproduct of both. It's possible that the grinding we do is reawakening the old powers in the blood, after all, if you can defeat the Ancients which were nephalem spirits, it certainly makes you essentially just as step above both angels and demons themselves. This isn't consistent, as D3, goes full blown on the entire Nephalem Vs the Prime Evil idea. But going back to Diablo 2 which is followed closely by 4, Carthas, the Paladin has canonically killed Mephisto, so clearly with enough efforts, the prime evils and most of all the lesser are not as strong as they were, not at least compared to humans that grinded that is.
"Diablo 4 is more grounded, the main character is more... human.", said the fans. But..... isn't Lilith also one of the top dog of hell? Like, top 4 or something, she's more powerful than the lesser evils (who even archangels wouldn't dare to underestimate) and beat an Archangel.
Honestly while there are some neat ideas here. The Pandemonium Event from 2 felt a little more closer, to what this story is trying to tell. Also in 2 your character is also human, I can't see why they wanna push that idea as if it's a critical selling point. I mean, the objective in 2 was killing all 3 brothers.

Bro wtf r u talking about, she was evil af, but other than that i agree the way they killed both inarius and lilith is...pathetic to say the least
She’s not evil she’s just not human , she dose have a natural nature to be kinda like that but for the most part she’s right she literally gave y’all free will and y’all keep faking it up
Somehow, I feel sorry for Lilith... She may be a demon and the daughter of Hatred, and her nature led to the suffering of those who stood in her way, but in the end her intentions weren't true to her nature as a demon.
Has she used powers over you
She was still sadistic, she also didn't do it to only those who stood in her way. Last I checked old girl's mother in chapter 1 was not standing in her way, in fact she wanted to help and Lilith shat on that
I'd rather they do a SIN WARS diablo spinoff.
Now THAT would be epic.
If you've read the trilogy you know.
I have burnt all the books after I have done reading it -*-
Playing as one of the Nephalem that followed Uldyssian ul-Diomed, Saranthia and Mendeln into war against both the Triune and the Cathedral of Light would have been awesome, ending with the climax of the three-way battle between Mankind, Hell and Heaven.
Even Tyrael could have been a boss in a game centered around the Sin War.
I wanted them to go back to the Low Profile of the first Diablo that at the time I thought was set in our world. And then it became a World of Warcraft Warhammer 40K low-budget lore.
I really love your character design, keep it up!❤
Una serie con ese nivel de cinematografía sería genial
so let me get this right, Lilith tried everything she could to enter the chamber to take Mephisto power, and despite all that, the MC and Neyrelle just teleport right into there, sealed him into the stone, and solo Lilith like a champ, and kill her off. So Inarius couldnt do shit, Lilith couldnt achieve any shit....all that hype about Father and Mother are down to the toilet
Inarius died the shittiest way possible.
Lilith was weakened after her fight with inarius, and mephitso was the one enabling the teleportaion. To my knowledge only prime evils can open hell gates(outside of humans)
Someone wasn't paying attention.
lillith is described as one of the powerful demon..I think you don't pay attention.
you all have a point. @nagolee is just pointing out is why are are the characters OP? If we are going to base this on the Diablo novels/books, there are such things as awaked humans. These individuals are more powerful than either the demons or angels. Now I'm just wondering when are the awakened going to be hunted by both the angels and demons.
I was too overgeared to fight her but it was still an amazing fight
I was level 39 and she was level 45 it took me like 45+ minutes and like 6 trys
@@juhahu1607it took me one try
Same feeling, and the problem is due to difficulty limitations, she is locked at lvl 50. I was already lvl 50+ with decent gear and legendaries. The fight was tasteless, fast and easy, even with a human storm drui (without any buffs from werewolf or werebear).
1:52 I love this part
Since the comment section in this video is EXTREMELY negative towards Diablo IV and its story, I personally can say that I did enjoy the story overall, but I completely agree on that the ending was underwhelming af. Lilith was such a good character that I was genuinely surprised that we fought her and she just... died. I even expected her to be the actually good guy and Inarius to be the villain (he certainly was an idiot)
While the ending with Neyrelle who casually carries a prime evil now with her is definitely a premise for a future expansion or even the next entry, I was really hoping that Lilith would remain a foe that plays a greater part in the story than just the bad guy that we fight at the end.
And this cinematic is really beautiful, too bad I don't like her two main characters.
Blizzard milks these soul stones and prime evils as much as they love to dangle Arthas in our faces before completely disappointing us.
its a good game can u stfu ffs
At least they dangle them something. Starcraft players are stuck in a permanent maintenance mode.
@@masterexploder9668 At least they're not being put through cycles of vague hopes and crushing disappointment.
@@FiendMatadorSlayerOfNoobs I'd rather have nothing than something new from blizzard, why can't they just sell starcraft to someone else..
@@masterexploder9668 pretty sure Starcraft is just done, there wont be any more content for it they confirmed it lol
Up to the very end, it's like she can't understand why we wouldn't want to help her. Honestly I think the story was changed after the cutscene was made.
Personally, I hate that we weren't given any dialogue and story choices. And in all honesty, I would have sided with Lilith.
Extra stuff always when done right helps openings and endings to story and boss fights would have been better if the hero also got to say something instead of the silent treatment.
The way story played out ... D4 will be the first game in the series having more than 1 expansion 😯

@@maestrrsantarael6590, this guy either never played D2, or he provokes.

Lilith is a demon she cannot die. She will respawn in hell given enough time. Inarius essense will return to silve pinnacle, but unlikely he will retain personality.
Don't you know obviously your new. She'll definitely be back. You literally can't kill her.

Dont worry they will sell an expansion to fight the prime evils i bet each one for full price game expansion. They are planning on making it another live service game.
Barely anything happen in the story which was obvious set up for dlc and expansion. They are giving bits and pieces so that they can milk everyone.

Lilith ❤❤❤
imagine playing this whole game only to fight a low rent version of maleficent
Sadlly, my first impresion on Lilith was not good, I was already lvl 50+ when I reached the ending and she cannot pass lvl 50, so in 2-3 min you kill her easily. My Druid using Tornado, Hurricane and Cataclysm deleted her, and Human Druid is the weakest. When she changed phase 2 I was like "Ummkay, show me the pain in myth" then 30 seconds later "It's that all?"
Andariel was harder for me.
