    You could've just bought the N55 fan and used your old shroud housing...could've saved yourself big $$$. N55 fan fits right in and uses same style electrical connector...but I guess it's too late for that since you bought the new one now...Oh well...there's always a next time I guess ;-). Cheers.

    I think this is going a big issue coming forward with us e9x m3 owners.

      Luckily, it's a relatively simple DIY. The part is pretty expensive for what it is though.

      I got the same issue - engines fine until your stood still and the fan ramps up but ima get it replaced just nice knowing the issue

      @@rumbleman65 Some people have mentioned to me after the fact, that the fan from 535i works as well and costs about half as much. You may want to look into that.

      @@CarGuy1 oh wow really - I'll defiantly look into that as I cant buy a new one in the UK - I've looking into second hand right offs but I could be getting a part that lasts 10 miles
