Welcome to Prime. I have been here for 7 months, been driving for 6 years and this is my first time doing reefer and i am liking it pretty well so far.
Welcome to Prime. I’ve been here since 2016 and while no company is perfect I can’t see myself leaving here. I might go from a driver to a dispatcher but that would be about it.
My truck went into the shop last week and they said it’d be nearly two months until it’s fixed. I requested another truck and was told they have a lot of new drivers waiting on trucks and won’t give me another one.
@@mrshakeback9649 this is the issue that I deal with too is when I can't get repairs done in a timely manner and I still owe weekly for the truck payments. so after two weeks or a month when the truck is done I have to work for free for two weeks just to get out of the hole. Lol
Man if you can come to the Springfield location. Prime Inc. is head and shoulders above KLLM. You won’t be disappointed. I’m doing a walk away lease. It’s election year so I’m sure this will be a great year!
I like your content and welcome to Prime! I’m a new driver and in the flatbed division, I have seen at least two other female drivers in flatbed with Prime and I know there are more out there, so don’t let anyone talk you out of it if it’s something that you want to try. But with that said I won’t sugar coat it, yes it can be hard work especially tarpping , and it’s in all types of weather, but personally I like the more hands on work. Anyways keep up the content, and drive safe!
Hey there! Great video, I am beginning OTR truck driving school on Monday. I’m binge watching lady driver videos for good measure. That’s cool that you do a book club! Would you consider highlighting my book? One Thousand Elsewhere: A True Survivor Story. I’m an entrepreneur at heart so I can relate to your decision! Congrats on your newest chapter of your trucking journey!
@@HelloTrucker I appreciate that so much. I’m ending up my first week of CDL school with Swift. I got my Class A permit yesterday! 3 more weeks to the driving test.😅
Flatbed/open deck is not easy! I would suggest to go reefer or tanker. Reefer probably better option. Flatbed, rain, snow or heat (110-120 degrees F) you got to be out there. If you get easy loads then okay but overall it is a slave job. If you can bare the pain and suffering in flatbed then great eventually you will get used to it, later you can move to bigger stuff like pulling a RGN or low boy, doing heavy haul were the pay is higher. All in all, I’ll be looking at your journey! Good luck.
Prime Inc has its flaws however they do a lot of thing right. I work for a different local carrier now but I often say to myself “Prime would never” when dealing with this company.
I have a question to ask you my friend she’s just turned 30 and she’s having kidney problems she can’t hold her pee and she was wondering if you had that problem
That tarp is heavy for a woman but if you are strong, you should be able to handle it. That is a dirty job flatbed is a very dirty job. If you don’t mind getting dirty getting in your truck go for it I just can’t do it I would have to take a shower immediately when I put the tarp over the truck. And when it rains, the tarp is even heavier.
Thank you for the Information I’m staying Refer Division for now. It’s too much uncertainty with Flatbed for me right now. Plus I’ll have to do a boot camp I’m ready to get back in my truck already.
I wish you good luck with your lease. I leased a truck with prime back in 2016 and it really didn't go well. I stayed in debt and never went home. I tried it for 2 months and turned that truck back in before I got in more debt. I didn't start making money in trucking until I went local. I then decided to purchased my own truck from a auction and lease on with landstar. Things have been on the up side ever since. Just sharing a little of my trucking experience.
When are people going to realize that working for the large trucking companies are all the same. They sing you a pretty song to get you hired but they are going to put themselves first before any driver
Yes, but if anything (heaven forbid) in between (personal/personal life) with that walk away lease u still have to pay for that tractor. It doesn't matter if the loads slow down/pick up. Yes, flat bed is a good devision.decision. Make sure u exercise on a regular for the tarp.
These young new so called drivers are just hurting themselves by jumping from company to company. All companies have things not to like, all that really changes is the name on the truck. Sterring wheel holder
Just to clarify I don’t “JUMP” from company to company. I love stability prior to trucking I was contracted with the military for over 9 years. I’ll carry that same character and reliability into trucking. As far as your “steering wheel holder comment”. I have NO RESTRICTION with all my endorsements. I’m out here to earn my keep.
If you don't have anything positive to say, why comment at all. People like you will never get anywhere in life, because you always worried about other people's positive moves.

Hey Driver! Yes, I’m happy with my decision in choosing prime!
If you're a company driver, be a trainer, that's where the big money is. Team driving, and you get paid all the miles!!!!!
Good luck on your new journey Queen 👑 I'm also in Missouri at the moment starting with Cfi, but I heard Prime was amazing.
Thank God that you won't be hauling reefer.
I just dropped my first load with Prime in Missouri! The snow wasn’t letting up 😅
@HelloTrucker I kno right it was Hella snow ❄️ congrats on yo 1st load 😎
Congratulations, I'll be following you on your new journey.

Yes Prime has definitely set the bar!
Most rental car companies are getting rid of their EVs
I rented from Hertz and I just seen they are selling off their Teslas.
Love it! Way to go!!
You're the best! Thank you 😊
I would take Malibu over a Tesla any Day, Electric cars are junk, look at them cars stranded in the cold

Yes every company has it’s flaws. Prime Inc is getting a lot of things right. Majority of everyone I meet is upbeat and happy!
Hopefully wherever you go is another better than what you came from considering how the trucking market is
Hope they tell you about the wind while your up on top holding on to the tarp 😂
I love this for you
Lol...tht a big difference
Hey hopefully you let us know how orientation is, I start my orientation on feb for a flatbed coming from TMC another flatbed company
I was interested in TMC as well. They are the largest flatbed company in the US. I’ll definitely give you an update!
I will appreciate it.
Were you unsatisfied with the pay at KLLM?
Damn she is absolutely gorgeous 😍 💖 ❤️ 💗 💕
Did you pickup at Cool Fresh on the evening of the 8th?
No I was actually headed back to Arizona. My last drop was at Fresh Express in GA.
The grass is always greener on the other side
The grass is greener over here. At KLLM we didn’t even have grass LOL. Especially on the Expedited fleet.
I like luxury to lol

I just want to know what kinda airport is that where u board from the tarmac lol😂

Several of reasons! I’ll do a video with my full KLLM review.
Uh KLLM has lease as well
I couldn't make it 2 weeks with KLLM my 2nd time around. There dispatchers are the worst.
Going to Prime Prime lol its Prime
